Its D-Day in Tehran. Friday the Muslim day of prayer is the day that everything will come to a head. According to reports the Grand Ayatollah has threatened Mousavi either stand beside him in a show of unity as he leads Friday's Prayers or be "cast out."
To emphasize his point an the Ayatollah is busing an army of Basiji — Islamic volunteer militiamen.
The demand was made at a meeting this week with representatives of all three candidates who claim that the poll was rigged, and it puts Mr Mousavi on the spot. He has become the figurehead of a popular movement that is mounting huge demonstrations daily against the “theft” of last Friday’s election by President Ahmadinejad, the ayatollah’s protégé.(SOURCE)
The big question is will Mousavi "toe the line". And if he does, will his followers back down along with him. There is the possibility that this revolt has gotten "bigger" than Mousavi. This revolt might have started out as a protest of a stolen election, but it has morphed into a fight to get rid of the guardian council and the mullahs that rule Iran.

Who knows.
If the people can rise up and throw out the mullahs, maybe they can start up a good free country. It would be awesome if they would adapt our Constitution and followed it. Iran could be a good option as a place to flee after the Socialists get done with us here. I’m just fantasizing.

I wouldn't hold my breath. Even if they "adapt" our Constitution, remember they'd be adapting it to a country which is still run by Islamic Sharia believers. When they're done adapting it, you won't recognize it.

read on another thread earlier, which led to a recap of twitters, an Iranian reporter shocked in disbelief that the rumors the Basiji were Hamas/Hessbollah were true - he saw himself and heard them speaking Arabic. IMO Anger against the Ayatollah will build if this is an accurate report.
