I am sick unto death the dog pile of network employees who use every opportunity big or small to attack Sarah Palin and her family. When is it going to stop?
The latest David Letterman vindictive assault is without any excuse. If he were my employee, I would have him drug tested to determine if he had the mental stability to continue on stage without being a detriment to your network. I would then demand that he immediately put forth a comprehensive apology to the Palin family. Any less, and I would demand the termination of his contract.
He has committed a racial insult by attacking a hispanic baseball player, Alex Rodriguez. He has implied with his sick joke that this hero of the baseball world would perform statutory rape on Sarah Palin’s 14 year old daughter, Willow. You will know that Alex is the youngest player ever to hit 500 home runs, breaking the record Jimmie Foxx set in 1939. How dare David Letterman defame this man’s good name!
Letterman is an unfunny 64 year old pervert, who obviously is thinking about 14 year old girls in a sexual way, and who thinks the rape of 14 year old girls is a joking matter. Are you people on board to jerk this fool aside and let him know that his employment is defendant upon an immediate apology? If not, then you had better think of the sponsors to his show. I will write them and tell them that along, with many of my fellow viewers, the Letterman show has become toxic. In these economic times, I am sure they will listen to my reasonable suggestions to no longer sponsor any Letterman stage acts.

That being said, this woman decided to have a child with Dave out of wedlock. Obviously, she and Dave had no qualms about raising a child without the benefit of Marriage.
Then, out of the blue, they Marry. I wonder what that says about them? Listening to Dave and his hateful treatment of those who disagree with his Politics, (remember stirring BOR’s coffee with a pencil?), I think the Marriage had more to do with his child's legacy than Dave's maturity.
His Heart Bypass surgery only made him a meaner SOB and did nothing for his humility.

I do not usually comment on off color humor that I hear on television because it is fairly commonplace in 2009 however, I find myself sitting with my jaw dropped at the absolute hate that spilled out of David Letterman over the past few days. I really have no political affiliation and watch specific tv shows purely for entertainment - I found his obsession with Palin a little bit disturbing during the election but ignored it for the most part but, he has really exceeded the bounds of decency this time around.
First, this woman was in New York to participate in a charity event for autism, not to campaign or do anything that would touch on Letterman’s world - what compelled Letterman and his writers to pounce in that way? It almost makes me question his sanity to some degree. Second, and the most disgusting - two comments about her 14 year old daughter that were absolutely unforgiveable. The first was the implication that Alex Rodriguez had inpregnated her and the next that Gov Palin had to keep former Gov. Spitzer away from the same 14 year old daughter. Perhaps you can explain why he feels he can intimate that a 14 year old is a prostitute? That is what I assume he meant considering Elliot Spitzer is fond of prostitutes.
I have to say that you (CBS) have really lost control over the content of this show and the lines of decency of Mr. Letterman and it forces me to have absolutely nothing to do with your network in the future. Quite frankly, an apology will not suffice - it has gone too far. I will return to CBS viewing when you assert yourself as a major network and remove this stain from the airwaves.

I understand you are having a hard time finding writers who are willing to write about faux pas and such in regards to the the current administration. I will offer my services for a hell of a lot less than the current rate, and a fraction of what you give a worn-out-never-was like David Letterman.
As an example I offer you this...
Today the Obama administration proposed another government bureaucracy that will further our national debt by billions of dollars...in other news children in daycare centers all across America held large demonstrations today demanding Obama stay out of their IRA's and milk money.
Not very funny is it...I know...in other words not much of a change from your present format...but notice how I was able to use children and politics in the same sentence without spewing vulgarity to a specific person, and even more abhorrent, their children, all for the purpose of getting a cheap laugh while massaging my hatred of them and what they stand for...that being decency.
In regards to the perpetrator of this type of indecent exposure shown by your Late Night host...
Show some class...get rid of the ..., well, I don't want to be vulgar.
