A group of ACORN whistle-blowers known as 'ACORN-8' is making explosive allegations against their organization. The group contends that that ACORN has mishandled multi-millions of dollars of taxpayer funds and engaged in the breaking of federal law. The group is also calling on their fellow members to stop paying their dues until ACORN opens up its books for an accounting. And at the center of the whistle-blowers' concerns is an apparent conflict of interest that leads directly to Barack Obama.

The media won’t cover this. No one knows about it, no one cares, but did you know American Idol is on?!
We are so screwed.
I anticipate a fully transparent discussion of this allegation in the press.
And fully expect to win the lottery this week.

*The New York Times killed a story the day before the election that directly linked Barack Obama with ACORN’s deceptive practices. This allegation is corroborated by taped conversations between a NYT reporter and a source—a conversation that proves the Times had the story but made a conscious decision not to run it for the fear it would hurt Obama at the polls.
*The organization gets multi-millions of our tax dollars, money that is basically unaccounted for.
What we don’t know so far is the extend to which the corruption extends at ACORN. Allegations from the whistle-blowers suggest that so deft is the organization at shifting around funds it receives from the taxpayers that it is difficult if not impossible to arrive at a proper accounting.

ACORN is about a Dem president, therefore, it's not newsworthy.

This will get written about in the british media - where no americans will read it and life will go on as Obama’s popularity polls remain high.
The media will give this story some coverage, but it will be reported from the following perspective: “The ACORN-8 is nothing more than a group of disgruntled, spiteful, non-credible individuals who were on the fringes of the organizaion’s activities, and are angry at the ACORN leadership for some perceived slight. They are therefore trying to damage the organization with these baseless allegations.”

So we have a fraud sitting in the WH, who is likely not a natural-born US citizen (as required by the Constitution)and who was put their with the help of an organization that, itself, engages in massive fraud. Even the mob has higher standards than this.

Bill O’Reilly was also talking about this on Monday evening...but I don’t know if a casual viewer (not a political junkie) would have understood why he considered it a scandal.
No. Republicans caught in wrongdoing lead to a scandal that is reported for months. Democrats doing wrong are reported as “swiftboating” because the Republicans are guilty of spreading stories.
I wasn’t aware that I altered anything. I wrote the story based upon what I had read in my sources, and I started a thread that I thought captured the essence of the story.
All ACORN members pay dues, and I suppose that extends to employees as well.

Last night, BOR said that, even if there was corruption by ACORN during the campaign, Hussein probably wasn’t aware of it. BOR’s delusional.

One, do you want an overtly partisan political organization registering people to vote?
I don’t want any tax payer money going to anyone to register people to vote. If a person does not have the self motivation to go register to vote then they don’t have the motivation to educate themselves on the issues or candidates.
Two, do you want your tax dollars supporting corrupt organizations like ACORN, which is under indictment in at least 13 states for breaking the law?
Again I do not want taxpayer dollars be doled out to private organizations involved in politics.
Three, do you want the election process essentially usurped by a group of high-pressure partisan thugs masquerading as 'voter registration personnel?'
Well tell me if I am wrong but I think there are laws against voter intimidation.
Four, the President of the United States is a possible player in one of the most corrupt operations in the history of American politics, putting Watergate to shame.

The original headline was, "ACORN whistleblowers say laws were broken," by Anthony Martin. That is supposed to remain unaltered, otherwise, tons of people would post the same article with different headlines, which would be very annoying.

Wow. It sounds like that CCI entity is a criminal enterprise for sure. I knew ACORN wasn’t the only front organization, but 100 different entities is quite a few.
