The afternoon practice ended in horrifying fashion when the Cowboys' indoor facility collapsed.
While a violent thunderstorm pounded rain down on the roof, the lights started shaking back and forth. Then chaos broke out, as the facility collapsed and players, coaches, reporters and team personnel scrambled for safety.
Several people were trapped under the wreckage. Police and emergency personnel have arrived on the scene.
More to come.

My decent side says, “Prayers for everyone”....my evil side says, “Mother Nature was not amused by the Cowboys draft picks”

sounds like it was hit by a tornado
Heck of a storm went through that area and is on a path for Texarkana.
another about to hit Ft. Worth and a 3rd storm behind it. it’s ganna be a long night. But hey, any rain is good rain
Wow. Video from the inside!
What was that yellowish flash outside the tent?
I was there and got interviewed by CBS. I live around the corner from there and was in my car when this hit. We were scared. I had my 7 year old in the car! Just got back. Several ambulances have come and gone and it is crazy!
I was in the Gold’s Gym immediately to the west. It is housed in a former supermarket and the wind was so strong during the pouring rainstorm that both pairs of double doors (facing north and south) blew open. Didn’t hear anything like a “roaring train” so didn’t realize what had happened until someone inside told us the facility had blown down.
I went out back and there it was, a huge tent collapsed, the metal structure sticking out. I was about 50 yards from the perimeter.
Sorta like Romo’s late season collapse.
Looks like it got smashed by a downburst.
I know where that is. I live right down the street. Scary!

Stay safe yall
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is escorted from the track at Churchill Downs at the 135th Kentucky Derby Saturday, May 2, 2009, in Louisville, Ky. An air-supported practice bubble that covers a practice at the Dallas Cowboys' facility collapsed during a strong thunderstorm on Saturday
We headed out to the concert, It was fantastic.
Marcia Ball said “I cant believe you people all showed up during a super cell for this show”
My friend said, “well, this is the city storm shelter” (Municipal Auditorium).
The second cell hit just as the show ended. We were stuck there for a while, but all safe and sound.
Coming home, the roads were like rivers. up to the top of tires on cars parked on the streets with white water currents. Holy Carp!
Quite an evening! L0L
