Like the 90% myth regarding American guns seized from the Cartel, the MSM took the story about Khalid Sheikh Mohammed being "waterboarded 183 times" and ran with it - poisoning the American public with a falsehood before the facts could be realized. The MSM will stop at nothing to push their liberal agenda...

Too bad...
Not really.
This type of technique loses its efficacy if it’s used too often, especially on the same subject.
Hunting season is approaching ...
The most that these prisoners were allowed to be underwater was 40 scconds.
Can you hold your breath that long?
My hubby and I just did a minute.
This guy was a wimp.
This isn’t correct, I heard David Letterman say it was over 180 times.
Yeah but you did it in the comfort of your own home big difference
Which is exactly why disclosing its use is so damaging. Some people CAN train to the point where waterboarding is bearable. That’s bearable, not pleasant. Just practice, practice, practice is a safe environment, and the brain learns that the illusion of drowning is just that, an illusion. And no, I’m not saying anything that anyone knowledgable about the subject doesn’t already know.
If KSM actually endured it 183 times, that’s the best argument there is that it’s not torture
The media is a bunch of liars. Our President is a liar. His administration is a bunch of liars. Democrats are a bunch of liars.
I don’t know about you folks, but I’m hoping that I really am on a watch list, ‘cause I’m mad as hell.
President Obama: Would you dunk KSM underwater for a few seconds to save one American life? 100? How about the approximately 3000 that were killed on 9/11/01? And if not, what moral precept is it that would trade a few seconds of discomfort to a mass murderer for 3000 innocent lives?
>>Yeah but you did it in the comfort of your own home big difference<<
Well, actually, I’m not the potential killer of thousands of Americans.
For him, good on ya son! Pity they didn’t hold ya down there longer.
Quoted because it is true.
I drown all the rats I catch in my traps.....send Khalid Sheikh Mohammed to me....I’ll waterboard him......no problem....at least he won’t complain about torture anymore.....and he will still have his head, at that...
Amen!!!
WEEKLY STANDARD.com: "PREENING & POSTURING Throwing those who guard us while we sleep to the wolves." by William Kristol (SNIPPET: "The dark and painful chapter we have to fear is rather the one President Obama may be ushering in. This would be a chapter in which politicians preen moralistically as they throw patriotic officials, who helped keep this country safe, to the wolves, and in which national leaders posture politically while endangering the nation's security. The preening is ridiculous, even by the standards of contemporary American politics and American liberalism. Obama fatuously asserts there are no real choices in the real world, just "false choices" that he can magically resolve. He foolishly suggests that even in war we would never have to do anything disagreeable for the sake of our security. He talks baby talk to intelligence officers: "Don't be discouraged that we have to acknowledge potentially we've made some mistakes. Thats how we learn."") (May 4, 2009 Issue)

“The media is a bunch of liars. Our President is a liar. His administration is a bunch of liars. Democrats are a bunch of liars.”
You’ve just captured all you need to know about the present state of American politics.
So in 5 times he gave up the attack on the GW Bridge. Sounds pretty effective. Obama is more concerned w/terrorists safety than Americans.
Pray for America
Obama is concerned with appeasing the liberal traitors that make up the base of his party.
The regime’s propagandists in the mainstream media (I’m including Schlep Smith in that crowd) know this but don’t care.
It just means that Khalid is a slow learner!
If he was only waterboarded five times, then we’re still 2995 sessions short.
