Only problem with horse face's argument is Jeffords identified with the Democrat party but he could only muster himself an "independent" and he jumped ship just weeks after winning re-election as a Republican, but that "bold" move ended his career later. Specter simply made a career-ending move. His internal polls stink and that's why he jumped ship.

Lieberman might be out of step with his supporters in horse face's estimation but he's still a Senator, who happens to be popular among Dem and Rep voters in Connecticut.

Horse face is just long in the tooth and short on the facts.

As appealing as having Liberman switch parties sounds, and I have a lot of respect for one of the few Democrats who actually support our troops, I don’t want Joe in my party as he’d just be another of the RINOs that we need to purge.
