After her father Tim was diagnosed with colon cancer, Georgia Browne went on the Internet to research ways to help save him. Thats where she got a brilliant though a bit unconventional idea to breastfeed her dad:
Georgia recalls. I started researching on the internet immediately and found separate studies in America and Scandinavia both supporting the health benefits of breastmilk to cancer sufferers.
I watched the documentary and thought it was a really mad idea, if it was true, she says. I started looking on the net and found research suggesting breastmilk helps kill cancer cells.
Finding out I could help was amazing. I could play my small part in helping my dad do something positive for his illness. When I talked to him about it, he thought it was a great idea. He thought: Why not? [...]
With the familys blessing, Georgia started expressing her milk for Tim straight away. She dropped the first batch round to her parents home in a freezer bag, which her mum popped in the freezer.
I thought hed mix it into a milkshake like the man in the documentary, but when Mum defrosted it the next day, he simply poured it on his cornflakes with a splash of normal cows milk. He said it didnt taste that different to cows milk, maybe just a bit sweeter if he didnt get the mix right, Georgia says.

Should probably read ‘By providing him with breast milk’. ‘Breastfeeding’ your dad sounds kind of...wth? lol
The headline is misleading. She is not breastfeeding him but milking her breasts, so he can use it. Still strange, but a tad different from what the headline suggested.
Perhaps, but even if you pump and feed the baby with a bottle, it is still called breastfeeding.
I am glad to hear she is just providing the milk and not actually suckling her FATHER. Sheesh.
This article’s headline is misleading. She’s giving him her pumped breast milk, which he puts on his cereal. She’s not really “breastfeeding” him.
He is feeding from her breast, no difference. And, still gross
Well, except for the whole sucking on her nipples thing.
Brings a whole new meaning to the phrase; “Got milk?”
The headline is misleading to get people to read the article. There is no other reason to be so ambiguous about what the daughter is doing.
Maybe his daughter is a cow?, or looks like a cow?
Huge difference.
They are both referred to as breastfeeding.
When the aged Cimon was forced to starve in prison before his execution, his devoted daughter Pero secretly visited her father to nourish him at her own breast.
WANT BITTY!
Makes sense in a way.
