Former CIA Director Hayden Slams Obama for Releasing CIA Interrogation Memos - Video 4/19/09

Here is video of former CIA Director Michael Hayden yesterday on Fox News Sunday being very critical of President Obama for releasing CIA Memos that detail the "outer limits" of what the CIA will do in terms of interrogating prisoners.

Hayden argues that is very dangerous, making it far more difficult for CIA Officers to defend the nation. He also believes Obama's decision has demoralized CIA employees, making them far less aggressive since they do not know whether or not their actions will be fodder as a political football in the future. It has left the Agency feeling that what they do is not protected from administration to administration but is rather at the mercy of the "ACLU" and the "New York Times Editorial Board."

Hayden says bluntly that the interrogation techniques Obama has abandoned DID WORK. He flatly says the argument by Obama and others that the "Enhanced Interrogation Techniques" don't work is false - not accurate. Hayden says one can take the honorable position that "America should not use these techniques EVEN THOUGH THEY WORK, but cannot argue that they don't work." . . . . . . (Watch Video)

As if the Leftists at CIA and State could care less.

They were the ones leaking compartmented stuff to the MSM since 2002. And they were rewarded handsomely for it, with pensions and lifetime appointments.

It used to be called "treason".

It's now called "Hope and Change".

Liberals won’t care about this issue unless THEIR office building gets bombed by a terrorist.

rewarded handsomely for it...’

that means that many leftists were in high places. High enough to do the rewarding.

Plus...how many intelligence agencies are now going to share info with the CIA now that they know it will be leaked?

We could end up in isolation -—blind and deaf with no other agency sharing info with us.

Ironic, isn’t it? The Gore-lick Wall between the agencies is back up by choice, not by rules.

Wow, if this isn’t treason, then I don’t know what is. Rediculous. I can’t believe I’m actually reading this. I’m thinking about not watching the news for the next couple of years, and just waiting until we get someone with sense in office to reverse these stupid orders. Do any freepers know if ex-CIA officers can file lawsuits, or try the President for treason?
