He answers the question about what responsibility Frank had in the Fannie/Freddie mess.
Someone previously here labeled him “Barney Fag”, which caused a bit of coffee to come through the nose.
Well, he is! And, because of it, we won’t be held accountable.
“he” won’t be held..... (sorry)
Congressman Dick Armey made that comment ages ago...
Whatever the percentage of culpability in the world wide financial collapse, it is enough that he should not be walking the street as the arrogant, homosexual gasbag, he is. As I see things, his malfeasance in office is far more evil, than Bernie Madoff ever dreamed of being, and where is Bernie today. Case closed.
Barney is a grotesque, human like ,charicature of a homosexual Foghorn Leghorn.
The shirt that he cant button, the tie that cannot be pulled up to its proper place, the overhanging gut, the spittle laden speech.
And yet this man holds a high place in the highest place in our country, Capitol Hill. He Represents the people of the State of Massachusetts and the people of Massachusetts are happy with it as long as the pork keeps coming. That doesnt say much for his state or it’s people.
I could live with him only serving the people in Massachusetts, but by virtue of his place on the banking committee, he makes life worse for the entire nation (and yes, I know the word virtue and Barney Frank really shouldn't be used in the same sentence!).
Maybe Barney is frustrated because he is a closet heterosexual and he wants to come out.
LOL Not much chance of that. A woman would have to be waaay past hard up to give Barney a shot at her.
“Maybe Barney is frustrated because he is a closet heterosexual and he wants to come out.”
He’s not a closet case at all. He’s openly gay. There was even a sex scandal a few years back involving a male “boarder” in his apartment who had been using the place to run a gay prostitution ring. “I’m shocked, shocked to discover that” Fwank said at the time.
He may not be frustrated but like most gays, he is hostile. His position on the HR finance committee allows him to vent that hostility toward a sector of the economy traditionally seen as masculine: business. That’s the reason he feels he has the right to set salaries and wages for everyone involved in making a living in the private sector.
Prime example of why it's best to read before posting!

It wasn’t someone here. It was Dick Armey on the floor of the house.
Barney Frank gets away with all his crimes because the press and his colleagues are petrified of his sarcastic attacks. He never answers a question, he just attacks the questioner. Because he is openly gay the politically correct elite will never call him on it. The Harvard student is a hero for standing up to this windbag and showing the fourth estate how to do their jobs.
I always thought that the perfect retribution for Mr. Frank would be if his power of speech were taken away. Without his non-funny Don Rickles type attacks he is absolutely nothing.
“Barney is a grotesque, human like ,charicature of a homosexual Foghorn Leghorn”
Exactly. The Harvard student succeeded in exposing him as the blow hard (hehe) that he is. Frank blames all the Republicans in history for the sub prime collapse and paints himself as a passive bystander to the crisis.
Tell me, what more could I have done he demands. Well for one Barney, you could have reigned in Freddie Mac’s expansion of its portfolio with bad debt at the expense of your boyfriend’s bonus.
Every time I see Frank on TV, it looks like he just swallowed. Sickening.
