That’s a darn good point about the Bill of Attainder. All our Reps need to bone up on the Constitution a bit. To his credit, once Ryan did the homework and realized that excessive taxation on bonuses as a punishment was unconstitutional, he publicly made the claim he would have voted a different way if he had to do it over again. A day late and a dollar short ... but at least he is capable of admitting his mistake.
