Larry Grathwohl was an FBI informant who infiltrated Ayer’s Weather Underground terrorist group in the 1970s. He’s holding a press conference in San Francisco today to talk about things Ayers and Dohrn would rather keep buried in the past.

The old testament teaches us the law and shows us how we fall short. The new testament teaches us the plan to rectify it. Any old testament condemnation by anyone other than God completely misses the point of the new testament in my my humble opinion.
Don’t get me wrong I agree with the sentiment of the prayer personally it’s just in my opinion, as Christians, we should pray for salvation for Ayers not for him to fall into the pit he has dug and so richly deserves. Compared to the glory of God none of us deserve any better.

I have no quibble with folks who feel led to pray for Ayers’ Salvation.
That’s not the brief I feel from The Lord re Ayers.
If it’s yours, by all means, help yourself.
Certainly we all deserve the worst punishment available for rebellion against God.
That’s not the issue.
There are those who have sold out to satan lock stock and eternity.
I find NO evidence in either Testament that we are to contend for their Salvation.
Of course, it is QUITE HAZARDOUS TO ASSUME a particular individual fits that category.
I sometimes have impressions from The Lord on that score but I mostly leave that to Him to sort out in His way and time.
However, when I feel led to pray a particular way as above, I do so.
If others feel led to pray for Shrillery, OThuga and/or Ayers’ Salvation—great.
On the whole, It’s not my brief.
I do sometimes preface prayers such as above with
LORD, IF IT’S POSSIBLE, PLEASE BRING THEM TO CONFESSION, REPENTANCE AND SALVATION IN CHRIST. IF IT’S NOT POSSIBLE . . .
On Ayers score . . . I have not the slightest impression in my spirit that there’s the slightest opening to Holy Spirit within or about Ayers . . . nor that there ever will be.
I hope you are not asserting that folks should pray for the Anti-Christ to be converted???

What I got it from it is that we fall short of God and have been given infinite mercy by God so we are in no position to condemn others as Christians. That’s why I have trouble meshing my politics and Christianity. Christianity is too alien to the ways of this world.

Scripture says God will not always strive with man. Individuals can reach the point of no return and it is a very frightful point to reach.

No doubt, but it’s for God to condemn, not us. We can’t minimize our own sin. Nobody is any closer to infinite goodness than anyone else. God forgave us as much.
I’m so gratefull for God’s mercy on me and so I really take all that stuff about forgiveness and mercy seriously. I think it’s kind of important.
Now is is really sad (and expected). I think we are going to have to do a story on the crazy people at Reddit. Seriously, who can give down votes to a story that indicates that we might be able to convict a murderer, and one that says he would do it again? Are you so in love with your Obama that you have to vote down the story, because Obama launched his political career in Ayer's living room? You are a bunch of sad, sad, people.
It is dangerous to believe the God of the Old Testament is a differnt God in the New Testament. Jesus said He didn’t come to change the Law, but to fullfill it. Things are no different now than they were. Otherwise you may be tempted to believe the Old Testament is no longer valid. The same God that cried out “Forgive them for they know not what they do”, killed every man, woman, and child in Sodom, and indeed killed every living creature on the face of the earth in the Flood. Bill Ayres and his ilk was a warning to the US for our drug use, sexual imorality, and murder of babies in the womb. Our country’s culture made a huge shift from the ‘50’s to the ‘60’s and we couldn’t defeat our enemies in Viet Nam, our President resigned in dishonor, the streets were on fire, murder, imorality, and almost every measurable culture norm declined during this period. Ayres was just a tool to chastise God’s people during this period. Needless to say, we didn’t learn a thing. God will quell the rebellion against Him by His people. It’s just a matter of degree of how far we take it before God gives us His blessing again. Praying for our enemies fail is a prayer for God’s people to repent and call on His name and He will forgive and shower His blessing on His people. My fear is God’s people won’t recognise evil and reject it. Remember Ayres is unrepentant. He is the enemy of your people. Don’t be on the wrong side because you misunderstand Scriptures.
However,
Christianity is not some 100% muddle-headed mush toward evil. Not by a long shot.
Compassion and redemption are God’s nature, preference and the reason for Christ’s coming and dying.
And He would certainly prefer that not any would perish.
However, it is clear from the New Testament that many will perish—in this New Testament era.
It is clear from the New Testament that individuals can reach the point of no return with God.
And at some point, The NEW TESTAMENT EXHORTS US to
shake the dust of our feet off against individuals even cities.
And that it will be worse for them than it was for Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment.
God is also a consuming fire.

There will be a time when the lion will lay down with the lamb.
That is not now.
Between now and then, blood will flow as high as the horses’ bridals.
Between now and then, CHRISTIANS WILL BE CALLED UPON TO DO MIGHTY WORKS OF VALOR.
Yes, the weapons of our warfare are not carnal.
Yes, we are to have sacrificial compassion for the lost around us.
That does not mean we are to be stupid.
I for one would not have a great problem killing many evil doers in defense of my family, loved ones, folks God had placed under my care.
It would, if I had time to ponder it, grieve me to send anyone to hell. I know what great pain and suffering feel like. I wouldn’t really wish that on even Hitler.
However, God consigns a rather large number of folks to the consequences of their rebellions against Him.
It is foolishness to pretend that we are going to be more loving or more righteous in our judgments of others than God is.
No you misunderstand me. I’m not saying the Old Testament is invalid or that it describes a different God. The Old Testatment gives us God’s law. The new testatment shows us the plan to salvation despite our gross deficincies in following the law.
I completely agree with you that Bill Ayers is a piece of s***, I just can’t follow that up with “in Jesus Name” in good conscience. No biggie, just a comment in passing.

to me and from me toward others.
Those who know me best with the greatest prophetic discernment describe me as the most forgiving and merciful person they’ve ever met.
God knows and He is the one I’m most concerned with pleasing.
He is the one who has worked that forgiveness and mercy into the fabric of my being.
However, God is not muddleheaded toward evil.

Instead, the union cited information from a former Bay Area resident, Larry Grathwohl, who is working with the conservative group, America's Survival Inc. of Maryland. Grathwohl asserts that he infiltrated the Weather Underground as an FBI informant and heard Ayers confess to a role in the bombing.
Ayers has denied any involvement in the bombing and, in January, called Grathwohl a "paid dishonest person" in an interview with The Chronicle.
The union's accusation surprised some authorities. According to a source familiar with the probe, who spoke on condition of anonymity, investigators have found no evidence that links the Weather Underground to the bombing.

In addition to running America's Survival, Kincaid is the editor of a conservative organization called Accuracy in Media. He has attempted to link Obama to communism and socialism.
He also has views that might be considered extreme in San Francisco, such as calling for a "quit gay sex" campaign. "It appears that the homosexual lifestyle is as addictive as smoking," he once wrote.
Kincaid said he was not going after Ayers to hurt Obama, but added, "We are concerned that we now have an attorney general who was involved in Clinton administration pardons of members of the Weather Underground."
Oh, btw, "Ayers, an education professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago, did not return a call Wednesday. Dohrn, a law professor at Northwestern University, was out of the country."
