That is one of my pet peeves. Mind you I never say anything, but so many people make that mistake. Also, they say a point is mute. Funny, but not the right word (moot). Another one I've seen a lot lately:
"marshal law"
The moderator of a gun-related forum I visit has that as his handle. Most fitting, IMO.
