We saw Defiance this weekend. It is a very moving and gritty movie about survival. Survival in spite of your enemies efforts to kill and destroy your way of life. I found it a good reminder for the coming days of Obamanation. And I did take my 15 year old daughter to see it. Lots of swear words, some adult scenes, but nothing too out there. She enjoyed it as well.
We also saw Gran Tornio the weekend before. Loved it.
I have heard a lot of good things about Grand Torino on this website (usually a very good sign!). Perhaps I’ll check it out this weekend if I have time.
