If you listen to the liberal version of American History, you will learn that by befriending the wold Bill Clinton made the world safer, and by acting unilaterally George Bush made the world more dangerous. Of course I have never been one to suggest that we listen to the liberal version of anything.

Allow me to suggest that when it comes right down to it, the difference between the past two US Presidents comes down to two events, almost ten years apart, September 13, 1993 and March 20,2003

Hmmm. Bush caused Obama to be elected to replace him. Clinton caused Bush to be elected to replace him. I guess Clinton left the nation safer.

Hmm Clinton lead to 911 attacks, USS cole attacks, 1993 WTC attack.

Bush lead to: Saddam Gone, Taliban gone, Charles Taylor gone.

I think the correct answer for those who are actually thinking and not hating:

Bush

No contest - President Bush is leaving office with the nation much safer than when he took office.

Clinton only left us feeling like we all needed to take a shower...

Neither because neither of them restored the Constitution.

Not to mention restoring secure borders.

Barely a lick of difference between the two.

Clinton was and is a pig.

Bush is truly a dufus, in the extreme.

You people extolling the virtues of the dufus in chief, please tell me that you don't think this nation or the world is a better place than when the idiot took office.

I really hate to be saying the things I do about Bush, but we've got to face reality. Since I was a kid we've had three people, running on the major party's tickets, who were truly qualified to be the president; Eisenhower, Goldwater, and Reagan, and that's it.

Obviously only two of those were elected and it says more about who we've become as a people than about who ran or who was elected.

Kennedy was an ill (Addison’s disease), drug addled philanderer. Johnson was a crooked blowhard. Nixon was an egomaniacle drunk. Ford was a nice man with only a double digit intellect. Carter was the worst president we've ever had, besides being an idiot. George H.W. was and is an amiable dunce who went along to get along. Clinton was and is a criminal, besides being an egomaniacle serial philandering prevaricator, and George W. is the runner up for the worst president we've ever had, who should never have risen above a county commissioner or city councilman, he just doesn't have the gray matter, and if he did he couldn't communicate a cogent idea if his life depended on it.

Reagan has been the only bright spot in the last 48 years, God bless him, and the nation is getting exactly what it deserves. You people need to quit cheer leading for this moron G.W., and face up to just how far and how fast this nation has declined.
