This was the year that we were supposed to begin seeing effects from the "man made global warming. The predictions were all there, and they were made long enough ago that we can figure out if the sky is falling and the Manhattan skyline will be under water a week from Tuesday. So how did the global warming nuts do? Well if you excuse the expression, Not too hot. So don't cancel your trip into Manhattan next month (because Chicken Little was more accurate) and read the top ten dud predictions from the Australian Arm of the Church of Global warming:

You know it's a scam when they have to say, "All these cold temperatures and snow storms this WINTER are being caused by 'global warming'."

These buffoons need to go back to trying to sell the Brooklyn bridge or maybe join in with that Nigerian bank account gig. Their "global warming" scam is a dud.

In 1998 they were telling us that global warming would accerate. So far we have had a decade of global cooling, but the media does not notice.

Are the rain forests in South america still there? Because they were supposed to be gone too. I remember a rain forest countdown clock at the Aquarium of the Americas in new orleans waaay back in like 1987 or so. It counted down the remaining acres. Certainly someone must have reset this clock, or took it off the wall, or renamed it to the Rain Forest Change clock, because as far as I know South America has not turned into the Sahara 2 or anything like that.

I am tired of predictions of vague calamities that can only be avoided by increasing the regulatory power and revenue of government, really just damn tired of it.

In 1998 they were telling us that global warming would accerate.

In the early '80's they said large parts of Florida would be under water by the year 2000.
