'Dear American Voter' – George Soros Says The World Should Pick Our President
Newsbusters ^ | 22-may-2008 | todd huston

Posted on 12/22/2008 8:22:55 AM PST by OL Hickory

We've seen it over and over, people in Europe who imagine that they should be allowed to vote U.S. presidential elections. Some of these people imagine that they should have a voice in our elections because, they say, America is so supremely powerful that the man who becomes our president makes decisions that will impact the entire world.

Europeans can vote in any American elections anytime they want. Just apply for a visa, come over and become and apply to become a citizen. Pay American taxes, serve in the American military, etc.

They can vote in our elections after they apply for Statehood and are admitted to the Union.

If we cease to be so “supremely powerful,” as we will under Obama, maybe the euros will finally STFU.

Shows you money can buy you anything... Now he wants to buy the USA - with his empty suit in the highest office and no doubt many more players in voting roles throughout the nation.

Crazy old George Soros got his citizenship - and I don’t know how he passed muster. Lord knows he must have lied on some of the swearing in issues you have to respond to.

He wants the overthrow of this nation - asap.

Some of these people imagine that they should have a voice in our elections because, they say, America is so supremely powerful that the man who becomes our president makes decisions that will impact the entire world.

Two things: 1) how do they measure the evidence that "America is so supremely powerful"? Everything I hear lately is that America is losing power. Or is this just another bitch that America is the cause of all the world's problems and we want America to pay for the solution, and not us?

2) I have no problem with them voting as long as we get to vote in their elections. Throw 200 million US voters into the election in France, Saudi Arabia, Iran, and a number of other places and I think you see some interesting alliances being made.

Of course, all of this is pure nonsense and no country, especially the US, is going to let other nations dictate our fate. The only way that could happen is if voters were dumb enough to vote in a Marxist president with an agenda...

...Oh no, wait a minute...

Hardly...the dual-citizenship arrangement currently allowed by the liberal government since the 80s (?) no longer requires singular allegiance, service or fidelity to the US. Anyone with about 10 years of residency can get this useful, but ancillary, second citizenship in America and vote. Raise your right hand and say, “Si, Da, Oui, etc.”

Here in Michigan, the state house of representatives just passed a resolution that combines popular vote totals with those of other “member states” as a means of choosing electors.

In other words, if we overwhelmingly voted republican but other member states voted democrat, all of our electors would go to the democrat as if we had never voted.

Nice little sidestep of the electoral college huh?

I don’t know what the Michigan senate will do but the house passed their resolution quietly before most of us even knew about it. All but my democrat rep voted in favor.

The upcoming U.S. election will affect people all over the world, but only Americans will get the chance to vote.

Awww, just damn! How cruel and un-pee-cee.

Aside from a small handful of Hillary for president videos and a great many pro-Obama videos there are several Arabs saying Americans are murderers, pleas for socialistic healthcare programs, and nonsense about global warming.

Well, that is because that is all the communists have, nonsense and "hot air."

My thoughts exactly. I'd like a crack at Iraq, Iran, Russia, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Darfur, Venezuela, Cuba, Columbia, Bolivia, Mexico, Canada - I'm running out of room, but you get my drift — let me at ‘em.

I checked on Soros at Wikipedia to see what has been ‘changed’ over the past few years.... on his birth and family history here is what remains:

Family
George Soros,is the son of the Esperantist writer Teodoro Schwartz. Teodoro (also known as Tivadar) was a Hungarian Jew, who was a prisoner of war during and after World War I and eventually escaped from Russia to rejoin his family in Budapest.[5][page # needed]

The family changed its name in 1936 from Schwartz to Soros, in response to growing anti-semitism with the rise of Fascism. Tivadar liked the new name because it is a palindrome and because it has a meaning. Although the specific meaning is left unstated in Kaufmann’s biography, in Hungarian, soros means “next in line, or designated successor”, and in Esperanto, it means “will soar”.[6] His son George was taught to speak Esperanto from birth and thus is one of the rare native Esperanto speakers. George Soros later said that he grew up in a Jewish home, and that his parents were cautious with their religious roots.[7] However, Soros’s father was proud of his Jewish roots (which can be seen in his memoir on his experiences during the holocaust, Masquerade).

George Soros has been married and divorced twice, to Annaliese Witschak, and to Susan Weber Soros. He has five children: Robert, Andrea, Jonathan (with his first wife, Annaliese); Alexander, Gregory (with his second wife, Susan). His elder brother Paul Soros, an engineer, is a well-known philanthropist, investor, and New York socialite.

He also overthrew (or bought out) the Bank of England - there are many historical annotations on the man - how accurate they are is moot.

Ross Perot was an honest man. Soros is a one-world tyrant ready to sell out US sovereignty to complete his empire. Seems the US has fought a few empire makers in the past—let’s see; the British first, then Hitler, and now Soros, the next tyrant in line.

Perhaps it is time that the United States let the rest of the world’s fine collection of tyrants, thieves, strongmen, bullies, megalomaniacs and religious fanatics decide for themselves which countries they would like to rule - and let them.

Well, there are excellent reasons why Americans should not want to do this, among them: most of the people of the world are not prepared for representative government and the rule of law, not of men, and have no intention of living under them. This is obvious from the observation that most of the people in the world are ruled by brutal dictators, and that people get the kind of government they deserve--and want (the best objection to the liberation of the people of Iraq from Saddam Hussein).

However, the Left in the U.S. is of the same mentality and intends to establish a brutal dictatorship to replace the representative government of the U.S.; its power is increasing; and millions of Americans agree with its objectives.

So it probably doesn't make much difference--whether we live under a brutal dictatorship in the U.S. under the control of Leftists or under a brutal worldwide dictatorship.

Unless those governed demand good government and representative government, free of corruption, they will not have it,

And the Left--which controls the United States now--wants a brutal, corrupt dictatorhip, with Leftists in control of it. So what's the difference?

its a pdf file

http://www.legislature.mi.gov/documents/2007-2008/billintroduced/House/pdf/2008-HIB-6610.pdf

many states appear to be signing on with it. Just a quick scann and I see that Hawaii has already enacted it into law.

search “interstate compact to elect president by national popular vote”. Also search member states to see if yours is involved.

Not quite. Soros was born a Hungarian Jew, but “adopted” by an Hungarian fascist official, who took little George with him when confiscating Jewish property. Little George would assist the fascists in this job and rat on other jews. In an interview he admitted that he has no remorses about it and had a fun time.

The Nazi Collaborator Who Helps Set Obama's Mideast Policy (American Thinker/Yidwithlid 12/22/08 Yidwithlid)

George Soros has always been the type of guy who went above and beyond For Example. On December 20, 1998, there appeared this exchange between Soros and Steve Kroft on "60 Minutes":

Kroft: "And you watched lots of people get shipped off to the death camps."

Soros: "Right. I was 14 years old. And I would say that that's when my character was made."

Kroft: "In what way?"

Soros: "That one should think ahead. One should understand that—and anticipate events and when, when one is threatened. It was a tremendous threat of evil. I mean, it was a—a very personal threat of evil."

Kroft: "My understanding is that you went … went out, in fact, and helped in the confiscation of property from the Jews."

Soros: "Yes, that's right. Yes."

The gates of Hell have obviously opened, but instead of swallowing the wicked, it is spewing them out and landing them into positions of power...

No, George, the way this works is if foreigners want a say in electing the most powerful man on earth, they have two choices.

1)They can leave behind all the policies of socialism that hold their country back, come here, and become citizens of this great country.

2)They can stay in their country, vote for political candidates who will repeal the socialist policies holding their countries back and hope that maybe, in a couple of centuries, America will relinquish her role.
