Yeah, if we knew that the Constitution wasn’t going to be enforced, Arnold Schwarzenneger could have or will run for President.

Technically Arnold is eligible to run as Vice President, though if Obama gets his way its moot because then the Constitution will have been re=written so its possible to plan now for 2012 with an Arny/Sarah ticket.

He will certainly be no Lincoln. Our only hope is that one Congress person challenges the Electors stand to confirm him.
Nobody in SCOTUS is going to challenge accept any legal case. I fear they too are all convinced he is wearing an excellent set of clothes....

I do believe that this is an objective issue to pursue, at this stage its too early to have a 100% appropriate Republican candidate for 2012, of course Sarah Palin has drawn support and should be considered in any case.
My view right now is that the very discussion of Arnold being eligible at the least of VP is solid, he IS eligible, and he does have a support base, he was an actor, he is governor of California, he is NOT another Reagan but he is flea powder to the flea infestation about to be unleashed in the Whitehouse.
Why would we elect the worst governor in the nation to be the next president, even if he was eligible.
Because the worst governor we have is a far sight better than who is currently president-elect, its the old saying, the lesser of two weevils.
But people thought Arnold was the less evil compared to Grey Davis, how did that work out for them?
All I know is that anytime you mention birth certificate the left gets its panties in a twist and with the SCOTUS throwing the Constitution out the window then it allows nominees like Arnold to step up to the plate so to speak..If the umpires don’t care about the rules then the game changes.
How can someone run for vice president if they’re not qualified to be president?
I am Republican living in California and trust me, I’m no fan of Arnold. But....If a Kenyan-born person with Indonesian citizenship can become president, why not an Austrian as well?
As far as that little thing called the Constitution goes, it has been essentially ignored since the New Deal so why bother fretting over trivial matters such as the citizenship requirements of our presidents?
This all smells of Chicago gangsta/mafia corrupt politics. Where is the RICO investigators? This is pure coercion and extortion.
