You know the Keyes lawsuit is also listing some 60 or so California Dem electors as “defendants”. Don’t know how true it is, haven’t had time to research it, but I received an email this morning that told me that deputies and marshals trying to serve those electors are having a tough time finding em. Maybe they have all dispersed to the four corners of the earth, all on BO’s tab.

Now, if someone has a good case, instead of a lawsuit, shouldn’t there be an injunction against the swearing in of zero?
Do you not consider the use of another countries passport, as an adult, and travel to countries where Americans were not allowed to travel, an issue to be considered when evaluating?
Seems to me that if a person does this he has become a participant of the citizenship his parents have declared after adoption. Personal declaration of citizenship?
The issue of scholarships based on foreign student status is a much more recent speculation and not one I have any familiarity with the details...do you?

The constitution we have to deal with is not the same constitution you are talking about when you mention original intent. The constitution for good or ill has been modified by activist judges. There is plenty of supreme court case law that supports dual citizenship. Whether or not a person born a dual citizen is a “natural citizen” as far as qualifications for the office of the presidency is up for grabs, but it is not a clear cut issue.
I’ll lay odds that this challenge isn’t resolved before the O is inaugurated.

You’re entirely correct that FReepers should do their homework and realize that the whole 0bama “citizenship dispute” is going absolutely nowhere, no time, no way, no how.
Moreover, these well-intentioned but naïve people make themselves look silly by chasing this story line. I fear they will be perceived widely as on a fool’s errand — one that well may discredit the conservative movement.
Now when it comes to Alan Keyes, I believe there’s no hope. Any call for him to “do his homework” is basically a waste of bandwidth. The man is either bereft of sanity, or he’s a cynical publicity seeker. If he doesn’t deserve the sympathy we should have for the insane, then I say he richly deserves our scorn.
