On top of everything else, we don't need a filibuster-proof supermajority, controlled by Dems, in the U.S. Senate. If that happens, there won't be anybody to filibuster on limiting abortion (including forcing pro-life doctors to perform abortions), stopping the so-called "Fair"ness Doctrine, fighting against higher taxes, etc..
In Georgia, conservative Republican Sen. Saxby Chambliss is in a runoff on Dec. 2.
They're still counting votes in Alaska and Minnesota, and in Minnesota they keep "finding" absentee ballots.
I thought I read just today that the Repub finally won in Alaska.
Surely the Republicans will not let the clown outright steal the election from Coleman. Where are our people calling BS on this. Isn’t this illegal. The laws don’t matter anymore in the US.
Forget Alaska...it’s controlled by republicans, and everyone expected the absentee votes to trend towards Begich, even Stevens’ own pollster. Plus, Stevens is a crook.
Concentrate on the FRAUD in Minnesota, and helping Saxby in Georgia.
AL = Alabama
That was Don Young, the congressman
Ok - Thanks -
oops.
I sent money to GOP of MN to help Norm.
I hope so, but do you have a link? If so, we can trust Gov. Sarah Palin to pick a conservative.
I did a search, and didn’t find anything.
The Republicans better fight hard for Coleman.
Thanks for the link.
What makes people so sure that all of the remaining RINO’s in the next Senate will, all of a sudden, behave just like conservatives on all of the issues? In many ways, the super-majority will already exist in the next Senate, no matter what the official results will eventually be in the remaining three U.S. Senate races!
Gov. Sarah will select a good senator, if Steven’s can’t serve.
We need to support all three states, because we don’t know which ones will win or lose.
WTG!
Can we send money directly to Coleman, or does it have to go to the GOP in MN?
Time to get rid of the RINOs in the U.S. Senate is in the next primary.
As bad as it is, it will be worse if the Dems have a supermajority. Again, it will be filibuster-proof, and the good, pro-life, conservative Republicans won’t even be able to TRY to fight. Among other things, it might be good bye talk radio.
Talk radio will not die. The airwaves will be like the free market. There may be “fairness” in the amount of time a lefty show will air, however, who will listen to it? Radio stations won’t tolerate having to provide “dead air”. They will pushback hard against any type of legislation or FCC directives regarding this. The Dems will try, get their pictures all over the media and talk a good story about how they want “fairness” (redistribution of airtime), but it won’t fly.
You have got to be kidding me.
Any "RINOs" in the Senate are Republicans in left leaning states. If you try to get rid of them, then you're just be creating more Democrat Senators.
You can complain about RINOs all you want, but at this point they're the only friends conservatives have.
If you want more conservatism, you've got to come up with good arguments that are going to convince the public. If you can't convince the public, then you might as well give up any hope of winning elections.
If you can persuade the public, then persuading RINO to be more conservative becomes much easier.
I was mistaken about the Senate race - the article I read was about Don Young for the House
Thanks.
So let’s keep routing for Alaska, because Gov. Palin will pick a good U.S. senator.
We HAD the (un)”Fair”ness Doctrine, and we could have it again.
Ask Mark Levin.
“If you can persuade the public, then persuading RINO to be more conservative becomes much easier.”
I don’t disagree with you there, but will ALWAYS vote for pro-life conservatives in the primaries, not who I think will win.
So what will YOU do to convince the public?
Do you write editor’s letters, call talk shows, or anything else?

So what are the Obama people doing in Georgia?
Oh, I know Palin will appoint a good senator.
My point was that there is virtually no chance of fraud in Alaska (controlled by reps), so all we can is hope. Minnesota is where the fraud is.
“Minnesota is where the fraud is.”
You are so correct, and here’s a good thread about it:

In Cobb County, there is early voting next week.
Go to the polls and vote for Saxby Chamblis!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
IIRC, Fast Eddie Rendell said last week that Arlen Spector "started as a Democrat" and will "end as a Democrat". Except for the "R" after his name, Spector has been acting like a "D" ever since he's been in office.
“In Cobb County, there is early voting next week.
Go to the polls and vote for Saxby Chamblis!!!!!!!!!!!!!1”
And bring/convince a friend.
We’re counting on you Georgia!
Laws are what ever the communist liberals want it to be. Frankieeeee boy will win. Damn, what is this Country becoming. Whoops, what has this Country become.
We must hold the line in Georgia. Let’s stop tending the wounds from November 4 for just a few weeks and unite with Senator Saxby Chambliss.
In Georgia we stop the bleeding. On the night of December 2, we will celebrate a Chambliss victory in this forum and start building principled opposition to the Obama administration. We then move forward and begin the hard work to elect conservatives in the 2010 midterm elections.
But it starts in Georgia where conservatives and Republicans can control turnout — and our destinies.
We do what we can in Minnesota for Coleman and in Alaska for [cough] Stevens so that Alaskans can force Stevens out and Palin can appoint a successor. But the situations in Minnesota and Alaska are much harder to control. The deck is stacked against us in Minnesota and our own priniciples arrest us from doing in Alaska what Democrats and liberals will attempt to do in Minnesota.
Conservatives and Republicans need a victory. We draw the line in Georgia and stop Obama there. We show the country the Obama machine can be stopped and we begin reclaiming the southland.
I’m in Illinois. I sent Sen. Saxby Chambliss a contribution via his campaign website (http://www.saxby.org/) a couple days ago. I hope others will do what they can. It is only step one, but let’s turn this thing around.

If Democrats in Minnesota succeed to hijack the election for Franken, it is crucial that conservatives and Republicans stigmatize Franken’s senate seat as stolen — just like the Democrats and libs did to Bush after 2000.
Wherever he goes, wherever he speaks we wave the bloody shirt until it is simply accepted as common fact that his senate seat is illegitimate and Minnesotans kick the Frankenheist monster out in six years.
But until then, updates about the hijack-in-progress can be read at the Coleman for Senate site (http://www.colemanforsenate.com/).
And the Coleman campaign is still looking for volunteers to sign up and help with recount efforts (http://www.colemanforsenate.com/take-action).

I believe that was the House seat. The Senate seat is still in doubt - last I heard the dim was ahead by a few hundred votes.

Apparently Georgia could turn out to be the difference between a mortar attack and a nuclear one. They need money or some such. Obama’s people are pouring into Atlanta. I am surprised the right can’t muster diddly when they can get all over a 4th of July protest or whatever it was where they went to Washington to protect the monuments. Georgia is literally the last line of defense. If it falls, the dems have a supermajority.
“Im in Illinois. I sent Sen. Saxby Chambliss a contribution via his campaign website (http://www.saxby.org/) a couple days ago. I hope others will do what they can. It is only step one, but lets turn this thing around.”
Absolutely.
imo, the Republicans seem to fight harder when they are the minority.
So it is especially important that they do not lose the tool to fight with, the filibuster.
Thanx for that great information which shows how we can HELP!
The lead for the Democrat keeps growing. Looks like he has it. Most of the blame goes to the corrupt old jerk Ted Stevens. Had he stepped aside we’d have kept the seat.
Alaska governors can't appoint senators. After Murkowski made his daughter senator, they changed the law. Now there has to be a special election between 60 and 90 days after the vacancy occurs.
“Alaska governors can’t appoint senators.”
Thanks for the info, but I guess it doesn’t matter now, because Stevens lost.
Now it’s down to MN and GA to prevent the filibuster-proof Dem-controlled Senate.
Prayers needed.
