Here is video of Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal talking with NBC's David Schuster about what the Republican Party needs to do to win again in 2012. Jindal is a very impressive person. He needs to continue to raise his profile nationally with appearances like this and policy speeches over the next two years if he wants to run for the GOP nomination. . . . . (Watch Video)

I am so excited about the new faces in the GOP!
See my tagline!
Ping!
Start hunting rinos would be a damn good start. Those bastards need to be defeated before we run again.
SOmeone just told me he voted with the Dems on SCHIP expansion. The one even big wallet Bush vetoed.
After four years of the Kenyan Manchild, I think the GOP will be able to run Larry the Cable Guy and win in a landslide.
LOL!!!!!
That jerk Shuster is trying to get Jindal to diss Palin!
Jindal doesn’t fall for it though!
That's because Larry the cable guy has more backbone than all known republican politicians.
He sure was trying hard to get him to say something bad about Sarah Palin. I’m glad he had his head on straight.
I think you’ve got a point there.
A very deftly handled interview. Jindal is very impressive.
I was for it too because the Bill didn’t allow illegal immigrants to be covered and capped the income eligibility level. It took care of the kids who really needed it, not half of the flippin world. Jindal didn’t vote on it, he pulled an Obama.
Sarah could kick his ass. With a dazzling smile on her face.
I’ll say this. The GOP needs to field the first Hispanic presidential candidate. If the democrats do it first, we will be permanently screwed with hispanics.
Yes it was deftly handled. Schuster did his absolute best to get Jindal to diss Sarah Palin and drive a wedge in the Republican party, and Jindal just effortlessly swatted it away.
He is most impressive.
I like what they guy has to say but in order for him to win he’s going to need American women swooning over him. Is he tall enough to be considered attractive to women overall? He looks OK to me but I have no desire for him to kiss me either.
Let’s see what comes out of this conference.
As VP again, would she would be okay but not as President.
Why are all the msm hacks suddenly so interested in interviewing Sarah Palin and Bobby Jindal? I suspect it is to get them on record to say something they can hold against them in ‘12.
Were I any GOP figure with a future, I would refuse comment to any msm outlet after what they did to Sarah during this campaign.
Bobby Jindal, is someone I could EASILY vote for an dbe genuinely excited about.
He’s right. The GOP screwed up.
1. GOP actions for th eelection did NOT match their record.
2. Corruption must be rooted OUT.
3. We need to get back to CONSERVATIVE solutions and principles.
Bobby Jindal is a aharp cookie.
He’s right about what went wrong.
I’ll be keeping my eye on him. So far, I think he’d make a good President. McCain ... well ... he’s a RHINO - THAT is what is killing the GOP - RHINO’s!
Jindal seems to think government is the answer, too. Why should we expect the government to be concerned about how we are going to pay for the next visit to the doctor? Why do all these politicians think it is the government’s duty to “create jobs?” They all sound the same to me.
He is indeed.
Let’s all put aside our 2008 differences (and our favorite candidates) and move forward to 2012 with a new slate of actual conservatives!
If I remember correctly, he was Governor when this was proposed. He couldn’t of voted for it.
I really want to see him as the standard bearer in 2012. He has the best combination of intellect, ideology, and electability of anyone out there.
When did he take office?
Because people are concerned about it and unless we give them a clearly articulated, small government, private sector, way of getting proper answers to their worries, we’ll lose out to the big government Democrats every time.
Government, like it is everywhere else, IS the problem in health care. If someone can articulate that and articulate a plan to fix it, we’ll have some ammo for our candidates to use.
You are correct he did vote for it.
For some reason I thought the SCHIP bill was voted on this past spring.
It has been a long couple of years. Things are starting to blur.
Big head and the desire for power.....
If your mind maybe!!
I just hope we can make it, as a nation, until 2012...BHO isn’t even in office yet (thank God) and so far, everything I read and hear is frightening....
I don’t want to wish 4 years of my life away...but I can’t wait until 2012 - again - if we make it.
Can’t wait for Jindal to run for POTUS so Biden can have another vergal gaffe....
“Hey Bobby, didn’t I see you at a 7-11???”
He handled the Palin parts very well (IMO). I got a sense he knew that a trap was being set and he wasn’t going to fall for it.
He's handsome. He has beautiful eyes, like so many Indian men do. He's more of a person of color than Obama is, but that won't make a difference to stupid black racists. Truth is, more than one woman has noticed that he looks very much like John Edwards after a long vacation at the beach with no sunblock. But he probably needs to work out and strengthen that pencil neck.
Freddie Blassie would call him a pencil-neck-geek.
Mike Savage claims Bobby Jindal won’t make it.
RUSHLUVER,
I heard Michael Savage say the same thing about Gov. Jindal. He said that Gov. Jindal was like Rudolph Giuliani in that he isn’t that well known West of the Mississippi. But look at Obama. I can’t think that he was well known West of Mississippi? Look at Sarah Palin in my view she was a shining star compared to her dead horse running mate.
I noticed that about him too.....and he’s got beautiful skin color:-)
