Elections are not about the candidates. They are about the electorate. And, yes, there is a very large percentage of the American people to whom character and integrity do not matter just as their own character and integrity do not matter. What matters to these is expediency, gratification and convenience. What matters is their own desires and pride (which is much flattered by the debasement of those they envy and hate). But the majority just don’t care or refuse to take the time to learn who they are voting for or what issues are at stake. Sloth too is a deadly sin and its consequences are no less destructive than those of pride or lust, gluttony, envy, anger and avarice because sloth lets these others take hold and flourish - it takes effort to control one’s own depravity and very many simply cannot be bothered to try.

We have a guy that won’t/can’t prove he is even eligible to apply for the job just days away from possibly getting the leadership of the country handed to him and no person in authority has even questioned it. This is unbelievable to me.
