My friend needs some prayers ( may have liver cancer ) VANITY

I've known Mike for over 40 years . He just sent me this email :

" I've got some real health problems of my own that have shown up in the past three weeks. I may have Liver Cancer...and may need a Liver Transplant. I have Cirrhosis...a complication from Hepatitis C...and a lot of things just all showed up at once. I'll keep you posted. Say a prayer or two for me. "

I told him he would be in my prayers , and I promised to ask my friends at FR to include him in their prayers . He is a great guy and musician and only 56 . Thanks in advance .

I just lost an elederly aunt, and in the 1970s, my grandmother, from liver cancer.

They both had it a long time before it was discovered too late. Glad your friend is scheduled for a transplant.

I’ll be praying for him. And, want to take this opportunity to urge other freepers to be organ donors. I have made my intentions clear to my family I want my organs donated at my death so others can live better lives.
