GALLIPOLIS, Ohio (WSAZ) -- Ohio GOP officials announced Friday that Governor Sarah Palin, the vice-presidential nominee on the Republican ticket, will make a stop in Gallipolis Sunday on a tour of Southern Ohio.
Governor Palin will start her day in Huntington, West Virginia, before heading to Gallipolis and Marietta in Ohio. She will wrap up her day in St. Clairsville, Ohio for a rally.
There are no details just yet on the nature of the stops in Gallipolis and Marietta.
I understand going to Gallipolis and Marietta.
But why spend any time on the West Virginia side of the river ? That is a total waste of time. Obama will not even come close in West Virginia.
This caqmpaign will be a great experience gainer for Palin in 2012.
The next four years should be looked on as entertainment. By 2010 Americans will have seen the folly of their romance with Obama, and the Dems won’t be able to use the race card anymore.
There will be a lot to fix up, but unlike 1996, there won’t be a good ole boy, next-guy-in-line like Bob Dole, but real conservatives like Palin and Jindal.
Biggest obstacle - getting rid of the legacy RINOs now running the GOP, like the clowns in the McCain campaign and the liberals in the Senate.
This is totally off subject... I predict this week you will start seeing polls that indicate Obama is gaining strong support in primarily red states such as Arkansas,Texas and Louisiana. The Texas and Lousiana trends will be readily attributed to Bushs and FEMAS (So Called)failures during Katrina. Also the Texas trend will be given to a rise in registration among Hispanics who “Despise” McCain. Now this is Just my two cents. The Arkansas theory will come because of Bill Clinton. Clinton was campaigning in Arkanas over the weekend for Obama.
This is going to be a big diversion in an effort to throw McCains camp off base. I can already see it happening in various poll research.
A Recent poll Showed Obama leading in West Virginia. This concerns me that Palin is going there and may possibly give credence to this poll. If We are truly defending WV we are DOOMED
Yeah. Another reason I can think of is that Huntington is where all the local tv stations broadcast from, including WSAZ. Maybe they are mainly trying to target Southeast Ohio.
yeah. If the McCain campaign has to spend a dime to win West Virginia, we are in serious trouble.
I guess landing there will get some TV attention.
McPal aren’t defending—they’re on the offensive to help down-ticket races. McPal are going to win by a comfortable margin, and they know it. Don’t worry folks, but at the same time, Broken Glass!
Please help the campaign in any way you can. I’m a dumb arse, but I have some disposable income, and am giving until it hurts.
I ran into a friend of mine at Walgreen’s the other day. She is a country star and had 8432 things in her basket (at least it looked that way to me since I was behind her)
8-)
We started chatting and after the “how’r the kids and grandkids” normal stuff, she told me she had been called and asked to come and introduce Sarah Palin at a series of rallies, so she was putting together a care package for Sarah’s bus. If anybody knows what is needed for a bus tour, this woman does!

Cheers!
I heard somewhere on the media the other day that McCain only does one campaign apperance per day. If this is true, WTF? Is he not robust enuf to handle two or three campaign stops per day??
Not true. He did two on Thursday and I believe he did two either Friday or Saturday.
