Ohio’s Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner (D) has ordered poll workers taking in early absentee ballots to bar Republican observers from scrutinizing the procedure.
“I am a firm believer in a secret ballot,” Brunner said. “This can be better assured if there are no observers.”
Ohio Republicans filed a lawsuit in the Ohio Supreme Court challenging Brunner’s order. Former Ohio Attorney General Jim Petro characterized Brunner’s conception as “flawed beyond sensibility.” “The point of a secret ballot is to prevent government authorities spying on who the voter is voting for,” Petro said. “It doesn’t mean that the process of accepting ballots is to be concealed from view. To the contrary, having representatives from contending parties observing observe the process helps cut down on fraud.”
Brunner charged “The GOP is attempting to intimidate voters by raising questions of eligibility at the polls. It’s like their saying they can’t take a voter’s word for it that he is eligible. They imply that voters aren’t to be trusted. This is an insult and a threat to an inclusive electoral process.”

What is an insult and a threat to our republic is people like you , Ms. Brunner , who are either corrupt or incompetent beyond belief. I called her office and complained about the situation, the aide asked me if " I was opposed to homeless people voting" I told her I was , if they were not eligible voters and the SOS was going to be so negligent as to not put in place safeguards to prevent out of state voters voting in Ohio elections, illegals voting in our elections and anyone voting in multiple precincts - the way the current system is set up, we are supposed to "trust the voter " ??????

Can we have this woman declared incompetent and removed from office prior to the election- this is a gross example of failing to execute fiduciary responsibility.
Anybody else out there sensing we may have violence out there on Election Day, and it may not necessarily be sparse and isolated?
Forget poll workers as well, just leave a pile of ballots next to the ballot box with a sign that says “one per customer”
John Semmens: Could you please label this satire in the headline. You constantly do these posts that take some truth and throw in your satire but refuse to label as such in the headline. It’s annoying.
Others: Could you please read the source, or lack of, before giving this any cred or at least responding as such.
Most of us know Brunner just got shot down by a Fed. Judge in regards to registering same day and demanding it go past the “thirty-day-before-the-election” statute as dictated by the Ohio Constitution but let’s stick to facts.
Palestra had a video , it may have been of Brunner ( I wasn’t tuned into this at the time I saw it) who said “Residency in Ohio is a “state of mind”...”
Another post reported that George Soros had provided funding for Democrats running for Secretary of State positions. She may be one of those who accepted Soros’ money.
His thinking was to control the vote counting process.

I thought it was real until I read your post. Holy smokes—how bad is it when one can’t tell the Dems from the jokes?
I heard on Great that a federal judge has issued a statement that the Ohio Sec’ty of state is in violation of the law. Evidently, the feds ordered Ohio to carefully monitor the vote after voter fraud complaints in 2004 and that preventing local districts from doing what the court ordered is a clear violation. The Sec’ty of State was on Greta, and she is very angry. I think that Greta said that her office sent a letter of complaint to FOX over the coverage of the voter fraud and that college web site that has been covering voter fraud, Palestra something or other.
I second that request.

Little bit sensitive about this topic, huh?
A simple sign saying [satire] is all those other 2 customers asked for, but you get too much out of making fun of the folks who fall for your satire thinking it’s the real thing. You get to have fun at their expense.
It’s not that putting in the sign is tiring or energy consuming. It’s because you don’t want to do it.
That’s something that we’ll all keep in mind the next time we see one of your satire posts. But you get to have fun. It’s obvious what’s important to you.
