I hate to blast you, because I know you don’t know what you are doing, but you think nothing of blindsiding me, so here goes.
Sorry Jason, but I can’t let you get away with spouting the leftist dogma to me. Lets see, why do you think Farrakhan, Chavez, Ahmadinejad, Castro, Ayers, Rev. Wright, Odinga (why don’t YOU try looking into the facts about Odinga a little more deeply) all like this guy and why do they support him? Do you think it is coincidence? Or do you think there could something bigger going on, that whether you want to admit it or not, that has been implanting in the American psych the hate America propaganda, and hate whitey propaganda, you grew up hearing it. Hatred, jealousy. It’s much better to blame someone else, than look at ourselves. I have had a lot of problems and not been responsible in my life. I didn’t do what is wise. But I don’t blame you because you have worked all these years and earned what you have. I don’t expect you to take care of me. But that is what the left is doing. They want to make you pay for their problems. They take drugs and you must see they have housing and babysitters, and food stamps. Now granted there is a place for compassion, but not at the expense of the working class.

One of our favorite movies was called “Zabriski Point” I just remember they blew up everything in that movie, and I remember wondering when I watched that movie, how I ever got to that place where I was so full of hate. How is it that you are so ready to side with the likes of a Madonna, who has lead men around by leashes in her videos or Lindsay Lohan who is barely literate. What’s his name Maher that gross pip squeak. Yet a lady who has led a normal life with marriage, children her own business, standing up to corruption in her own party, she is maligned as if she were the devil. She shoots animals for food, in Alaska they do that. It is very expensive up there. She took responsibility for each child she had, she didn’t kill them to hide anything that might stunt her career. I guarantee that each of those celebrity women who are hating Palin right now have had an abortion. That is why they hate her so much….been there, done that.

Anyway, I just wanted to say I totally agree with you about feeling the celebrity women's vitriolic response to Palin is subconsciously based on abortion guilt, I think it is also widespread among the feminist movement also. The women who felt so right in exercising their ‘choice’ either for inconvenient pregnancies or due to prenatal testing results, are having to face the possibility that they may have made the wrong decision, or for the wrong reasons. Every time Sarah talks about every child being a gift, and being precious, has got to sting. To me, guilt is the only rational reason that all these women are responding so irrationally.

I can relate. I’m in bitter arguments with family members all the time, and there are some immediate family members that we never speak to anymore. The bile, vitriol and anger always bubbles up at any family function. Gonna be fun holidays this year! I’m not on speaking terms with half the extended family.

2out of my 3 sons do this to me all the time. They entrap me. I’m pretty sick of it. The oldest wanted to know how I felt about these elections. I said I didn’t want to talk about it. It was all come on mom, I want to know. He already knows I am a conservative, and he gets me everytime. Once we argue he says, “I’m done” he doesn’t want to talk politics anymore. I can’t believe he gets me everytime.
One thing, we never know what is going to happen. Hopefully something will happen and the sleeping giant will wake and the the lost generation may wake up somewhat.

I saw some videos by the John Birch Society once, showing torture. I was so shocked to actually see that. Horrible.

The most intriguing part of the video to me was when those men filmed a poster of Kim Jung Il with the writing on it.

After filming the poster, and placing it on the internet, the nearby town had 50 of its people arrested and put onto trains by the secret police.

Anyway, cell phones and cameras are illegal in North Korea, and people will be arrested and imprisoned or shot for having them.
This is the kind of behavior that I will expect out of Obama and his democrats if they assume complete power.
It will be a totalitarian state, and there will hopefully be a violent rebellion to their iron-fisted rule.
I hope it doesn't come to that, but I will not live quietly under Obama and his fascists.

Several FReepers were posting this video (link below) the other day. Maybe you saw it? It’s by a former KGB guy about the propaganda that has happened in the West. It was made in the 80’s. It was a little bit ahead of its time I think—some people said that maybe Reagan slowed things down a bit. The things he is describing are so striking to what’s happening today. Watch it through the end and maybe send it to your son. Of course, one of the things the defector mentions is that the demoralization is so complete that you can show people the truth backed up by facts and they still won’t believe it. Your son will probably dismiss it, but maybe something will stick in his mind for the future—maybe something will click for him at a later time.

I have to say I feel your pain & I appreciate your sharing that letter.
My sis-in-law (hubby’s sis) that I love like my own sister lives in Anchorage, AK & absolutely HATES & I do mean HATES, Sarah Palin. She has totally believed the lies about “troopergate” - I tried to explain that the ex brother-in-law felt using a stun gun on a child as discipline was okay. She said Wasilla schools got this & that (can’t remember what) while other needy schools got funds cut. I researched all this & tried to discuss with her, but no go.
Funny thing is, one of her sisters & her husband live in Madison, WI & are the biggest liberals ever - her husband is a criminal defense attorney - are supporting McCain/Palin because they realize what a big 0 presidency will mean in terms of this country’s long term future. Said lawyer even wrote an email to our entire family explaining that while he feels McCain is too “radical” on torture & is too hard on criminals rights, Obama would ruin our country.
Even that was not enough to sway my normally wonderful sister-in-law. Finally I realized if I want to keep her in my life I have to give up the fight to make her see sense. She will either be voting the big O or 3rd party as will her husband & kids. It is so very hard for me to constantly bite my tongue on this when speaking with her. I realize AK will go McCain/Palin but you just like to believe your own family can “see the light”.
