Ok. Here are the facts, as they stand right now - it's late, so bear with me.
1) Politico says that something big is coming in the morning, according to the McCain campaign. 2) Someone placed a massive short on Obama on Intrade in the last few hours. People who know more than I do about these matters say that we're talking about an amount of money in the range of $140,000.
Those are what Donald Rumsfeld called "known knowns." We know two things - which may or may not be connected. The McCain people say they have news - and someone just bet a lot of money against Obama without any obvious public reason to make such a move now.
Now, what are some of the other things that we know?
3) Sky News is reporting that ACORN, the "community organizing" group with close ties to Obama is presently under investigation in eleven states. 4) ACORN's office in Nevada was just raided in a vote fraud investigation. 5) Federal Prosecutors asked that slumlord and Obama crony Tony Rezko's sentencing be delayed a move that is often a sign that a deal of some sort is in the works. 6) The Obama campaign is taking heat over seemingly fraudulent small-donor donations.
Those are all things that we know. Now, the question is simple: what's going on?
Are these things potentially all tied together? They may very well be. That seems to be the rumour that's going around this morning.
Rumour has it that Patrick Fitzgerald (who, I must admit, I despise for having prosecuted Conrad Black) is leading a multi-state investigation in concert with the FBI. It was also Fitzgerald, of course, who prosecuted Rezko.

Hopefully, it is not an endorsement or a SNL appearance announcement by Palin. Even the ACORN stuff may not capture the public’s imagination/anger. Hopefully something scandalous that would show Obama’s true colors.

I don’t think Corsi has much cred with the lame scream media. But, if there is hard evidence and Obama can get exposed for the socialist liar that he is, then maybe people will wake up to nightmare reality that he is a power hungry radical chicago street thug.

Clintons mobilize their asset to bring down Obama who has many skeletons waiting to be exposed if somebody put his mind into it. In return for what? Gore at McCain's cabinet post? Accommodating Clintons' pet policies?
Maybe we shouldn’t get our hopes up. I think i will be satified if it something that will keep Barry off stride for at least a few days.

Obama being frog marched to jail in cuffs all over FoxNews and the rest of the media reporting on Sarah Palin winking at somebody as the top story of the day. "And in other news, sources say Barak Obama will be taking a few days off of the campaign trail to rest before the big election where he is expected to win in large numbers in at least 11 states".
Would that be the SAME National Enquirer that brought down John Edwards, etc.? They seem to have some credibility these days.

Clintons like three things:
1. Money
2. Power
3. Leverage against indictments.
Gore is low on their ‘to do’ list. There were reports during 2000 that Gore and the Clintons parted ways.
I think the Clintons would want access to FBI or Attorney General— possibly State, CIA, NSA, or other intel gathering agencies. On the other hand, I like to think that McCain wouldn’t budge in those important areas. So he might compromise with the Commerce Department, Department of Engery, FEMA, etc. for ‘bipartizan’ graft opportunities.

That article states the profound lack of information released about Obama’s donors versus McCain’s complete published list. But what does the Obama campaign say in response? “We’re probably more forthcoming about disclosure than anyone.” !! Amazing.
