Let me say with utmost sincerity thank you very, very much for the positive response from my prior vanity on watching the first debate from the 10th Circle of Hell; tonight, dear readers, I was again subject to the abuse and logic-refuting Liberal movement that permeates Los Angeles like stale cigar smoke and white guilt.
When I logged in post-debate to check the live thread breakdown, I thought FReep was hijacked by the KOS Party People's Republic. The "revelation" of McCain being bi-partisan and annoying is about as fresh & exciting as parachute pants. The real issue here is that Obama would make Alfred Rosenberg look like Milton Freedman. Sure, so McCain inspires about as much confidence as Goebbels running for office on a Synagogue-construction platform... we get it.
O's ties to Socialist deceivers, Communist wannabe dictators and general scumbags is still the 7.76MM round to pierce the flak jackets of Independent idiots everywhere.
Once again, for the benefit of the free-world, the masochist in me demanded to be placed in a room with 14 Berkeley/UCLA approved Socialists to gain insight and perspective on a demographic that's as educated as Concerned Citizens for Pyongyang. Okay, so dyed-in-the-wool Conservatives and economists will gripe and complain about the mortgage buyout agenda McCain spewed randomly like a geyser; this is the hill FReepers will die on? I hope not.
We're still a month out. Soldier the hell up! Post-debate, I was gang raped like Sandra Bernhard in a Juneau truck stop. The liberal onslaught team was screeching like a Progressive Banshee denied abortion rights. I listened, nodded and waited... "Fine" I responded with careful tact, "Ayers is a talking point; I'll give you that for the sake of argument. How many of you have heard the name Raila Odinga? How about Rashid Khalidi?" At this point, I went into a very non-slanted assessment of Obama's links with 2 men who are arguably more dangerous and damaging than Ayers or Wright; the room was so devoid of sound you could hear a patchouli stick drop. By the time my soap-box was relinquished, you'd think I'd shown video of Obama tagging the White House with a Moon & Star; of course I had done that, only with facts
The first to respond shouted "Well, did Obama campaign for this Kenyan guy before or after the genocide he supposedly ordered???"
A scathing rebuttal, no doubt
"Well... after, obviously; he's clearly not ignorant. However, as a judge of character, I'd put him on par with Macbeth and Carter."
Hisses from the crowd...
"Look, Obama chose to campaign for a man who's called for the deaths of countless innocent civilians due to election stats resulting from a fair, Democratic process. Does that get a pass like Bill Ayers?"
Silence....
Ten beautiful seconds of silence. Their internal-spin machines churning like Iranian centerfuges: nothing. It was Tennyson, Shakespeare, Aurelius and Plato rolled into a beautiful lack of retort. A lone voice voice emerged:
"Well... Sarah Palin is stupid!"
Of course it was! *sigh*
> We’re still a month out. Soldier the hell up!
Dam’n straight. Well said! Being glum only does Obama’s job for him. The Good Guys are actually winning, and surrender is not in their Vocabulary. It shouldn’t be in ours either.
Surrender when Palin surrenders, not before.
I’m not going to vote because 0bama’s already won the election.
/sarc
:) Well stated.
The most fundamental question is a follow: "Is there enough white democrats and independents who are ready to vote for a man who belongs to a black racist church?"
My answer is no because the democrat primaries showed it and in particular the last 15 primaries.
You need your own ping list for your vanities. You write well. Add me to your ping list. I like what you have to say. Thanks!
Last night I caught CNN debate segment where they have voters wired up to response meters and after the debate O’Brien asked the 25 people if they HAD to vote then who would win?
Not who won the debate BUT who would they vote to elect!
14 people voted McCain. She was bumbed out and said McCain had a slight(? 14:11) edge BUT more important was what Cooper Anderson said:
“how could that be, watching their response meters they were always higher for Obama?”
Well, Dooper, it’s the simple truth, Obama can get peoples emotions up when he speaks, but once he’s stopped talking they know the only person they can count on is McCain!!!
Don’t ever lose hope and definitely NEVER give up.
bttt
