If CNN is reporting this, it can mean only one thing: CNN has decided it is totally irrelevant to voters.
Truly remarkable.
And Cooper there, trying so hard to undo the story - but the reporter just hammers it home.
There are more october surprises to come for the messiah....I think there are things out there that even the mSM might be interested in reporting.
Yesterday, one of the CNN newsreaders said they would have an “independent” analyst to talk about McCain and the Keating 5 “to be fair”. I expect CNN will be all Keating all the time in the interest of “fairness”.

There are some important personal and monetary relationships in this story. Obama’s claim that it was “a guy who lived in the neighborhood” is an outright lie.
Not only did he serve on two boards, Obama gave grants to Ayer’s wife, and it links us back into the Rev Wright liason with a grant going to him as well.
This investigative reporter opened up a huge can of worms for Obama here.
Finally, Obama’s cover story was that a political mentor staged Obama’s coming out party with her supporters at Ayer’s residence. Now, this political mentor denies she was involved, which solidifies the relationship between Obama and Ayers and very close, as it was his house and his undertaking to launch Obama.
Wow, who would have believe CNN would be the one. I’m sure they’re reprimanding the reporter now lol. Anderson Cooper was aghast and trying to deflate the story...funny stuff, but this is a real story here that will lead to other inquiries.

It's October, right? I would like McCain to “surprise” Obama in the town hall debate with a full frontal assault (quoting DIRECTLY from CNN’s report) on Ayers & Wright.
I don't care if McCain has to do it in response to a totally unrelated “audience” question. Just get it done.

CNN is not being as balanced as some Freepers think. The whole time Anderson Cooper is talking, there is the CNN “Breaking News” line at the bottom the the Dow closed below 10,000. Now we all know why the market tanked, but the regular viewers of CNN do not...and attribute it to republicans.
Then again ... it is the Clinton News Network. I think one factor we are forgetting, Hillary needs McCain to win if she wants to run in 2012.

Might be kind of difficult. I was listening to Fox last night while I was fixing dinner and they reported that Obama had “featured” John Glenn at a rally the day before. They can’t touch McCain about Keating as he and Glenn were implicated together in that and absolved of wrongdoing. Maybe Obama’s camp will have to say “Oh, my gosh. Someone should have checked that out better.”
I didn’t even know John Glenn was still alive.

Can you share if you actually KNOW there is more than there is already floating around now, ie Ayers, other associations with domestic and possibly international terrorists, concerns of non-citizenship, birth certificate, middle name, campaign fraud / funding from Good Will and others, reported gay sexual encounters, accusations of murder in his church.....? All of these are already out there and yet none of these seem to interest the MSM. I assume you must be telling us there is MORE than what is already out there????
It is difficult to recall details after the passage of nearly thirty years, but I met her at a seminar at the University of Illinois, probably in the late seventies. Her public words were not those of an unbalanced person, merely those of a leftist; she was speaking about international human rights, particularly in Northern Ireland. Her solution to the problems, of course, was a socialist or communist government (this distinction was a fine one, not sure it was clarified as her terminology was general). I can't recall specifics about that.
However, after the public communication was over I had the chance to speak to her privately, with just a few other people around us. I spoke to her about her notion that socialism or communism was the solution to anything, much less a viable government for the Irish and English. I mentioned my experiences with my relatives who lived behind the Iron Curtain, and detailed the ways in which communism invariably leads to abuse, cruelty, exploitation, poverty, and the suppression of the very rights she advocated. My tone was mild and unexceptionable; I was pointing out that I had extensive first-hand experience with these issues.
The expression on her face and the look in her eyes as she responded was frightening. She did not raise her voice much, but I felt I was confronting something wicked and mad. There could be no fixing what was wrong with the very intelligent brain of this person. I had the same feeling when I was watching that vicious and horrid Sarah Berhardt video last week, which I am sure you all saw.
I'm with you. McCain will have done his part to warn the American people. After that it will be, God forbid, our responsibility for electing Obama.
If they report it once then CNN thinks they are “doing their duty” to get it out and then probably won’t talk about it again.
If they continue this story then there might be something else going on...
I wish, someone would have mentioned in this report...the FACT that Obama has a reputation of hanging out with, and fostering the same views as guy's like Ayers, Odinga, Alinsky, Wright, etc..etc...

If John McCain truly is putting country first, he MUST let the public know of anything he knows about Obama that might hurt us as a people and as a country. To have damning evidence of a harmful nature to our country and hide it or any PART of it for political reasons would be treason.
I am not saying he IS hiding anything, but IF HE DOES HAVE INFORMATION OR KNOWLEDGE, he needs to share that, and ALL of that, out of safety for our country and its people.
That would be great.
But it would be better....if someone in the audience asked Obama that.
My ex-husband and I are going to put our heads together and see if we can recall something more concrete or come up with some details about this meeting. Not that it makes any difference, really. The point is that the woman is nuts and she is associated with Obama.
I'm pretty sure they could add that in addition to my comments in post 26 to a 30 second spot to make the association appear even worse.

This story, rather than an expose, was a subtle attempt to white wash the situation, just as the New York Times did, by concentrating on Ayers actions in the sixties and seventies and calling the Ayers/Obama collaboration with CAC as an effort to "improve schools". Steve Diamond has a good critique on the NY Times illusion. Many of his points apply to the CNN whitewash as well.
They also talk about Ayers and Dohr as "anti-Vietnam War" radicals, failing to mention that the Weather Underground continued to operate long after the Vietnam War was over. For example, the 1981 Brinks robbery by the Black Liberation Army and Weather Underground in Nyack, New York. In 1981 Barack had just begun his studies at Columbia University. Wonder what his take on the event was!

Why isn’t anyone (Boortz, O’Reilly, Rush) picking up on the report from Hannity’s America on Sunday night? I don’t know who the gentleman was but he spoke about Obama knowing Ayers in NYC, left a good paying job there to go to Chicago where he didn’t know a soul to further Ayer’s goal of overthrowing the government. Even Hannity isn’t focusing on it and I don’t understand. That’s pretty damning right there. The guy seemed to have his act together and not bashful about his recollections.
WHEN the big ZERO loses in November, can he run in 2012 as a WHITE MAN? Who would be his mentors then? Has the man never met an honorable person?
Just to set the record straight, Obama was working for NYPIRG before he left for Chicago, hardly a good paying job. However, as you point out his move to Chicago is rather curious!
