I am tired of sitting by and doing nothing while Obama and his cohorts steal this election. There was an ad in our local paper about a "Freedom and Democracy Get Out the Vote Effort".
TOPICS: Politics
KEYWORDS: enemy
I am tired of sitting by and doing nothing while Obama and his cohorts steal this election, so I decided to do a little street fighting of my own. There was an ad in our local paper about a "Freedom and Democracy" get out the vote effort organization drive. It sounded like a liberal kook fest so I decided to go. I had to sit through almost four hours of non stop liberal diatribe from obvious Obama supporters (even though his name was never mentioned). After the love fest, they asked for volunteers to make phone bank calls. I went up to one of the organizers and explained that I was a conservative but that I could not vote for McCain and "that awful Sarah girl" and wanted to help. The organizer seemed delighted at my turncoat attitude and gave me a list of 400 names to use to make phone calls (I assured her that I was highly motivated to get out the vote for Obama). I took the list of names home with me and threw them straight in the trashcan. Fight fire with fire people!!!!!!!!! Never give up!!!!!!!!

You should have called all of the numbers and worked against 0bama.
I could be on to something here. We should all go volunteer to make calls, and do the calls to promote McCain. hehehe

This is the Bill Ayers Ad. Obama’s lawyers are all over this group even though they know every word is true, their lawyers vetted it.

Totally our of line. And why is that?
A newbie who's been here for a week supposedly spends four hours at moonbat gathering just to throw away a couple of pieces of paper when he/she gets home.
Brilliant.

Are you people crazy? This poster has been here for ONE WEEK. And his/her accomplishment was that he/she sat through four hours of liberal Marxist tripe to do what?
To go home and throw a couple of pieces of paper in the trash.
Wow.
WAKE UP!!

What was wrong with what the poster said? They wasn’t spreading left wing propaganda or anything. They simply stated that they signed up for an 0bama ‘call center’ and abandoned the job out of protest to screw them over.
I don’t since any malice here. Not yet anyway.

a "Freedom and Democracy" get out the vote effort organization drive. How many Conservative/Republican gatherings have you seen billed like this? To me, it has Moonbat written all over it.
And he sat through it for FOUR HOURS? Even with a bottle of Patron Silver, I wouldn't last ten minutes
AND, he's been here a week, and his FIRST post is this vanity?
No, no, my FRiend; I call 'em as I see 'em.

I’ve enjoyed lurking at FR for years elephantlvr, but the importance of this election prompted me to join up because I wanted to actively join in and start posting too. Sadly,I’ve found that you can get slapped down pretty fast by some who think because they have been posting longer than you, they have some special right to be rude or treat you with disdain. It’s enough to make a person wonder why they bothered to join up in the first place.
But take heart, there are many, many more wonderful people here that make up for the few snarky ones you run across.
And who knows, they might just be having a crappy day and can’t find a can to kick.
However, like someone else mentioned, if you do get the chance for a do-over, it would be a great idea to make the calls for the McCain/Palin ticket.
