Looks like something Dan Rather would put on the air.
Is this real or satire?
paging buckhead :-)
Give me a break, Obama is truly evil, honestly, the world has gone mad
Why doesn’t he post his freakin’ birth certificate
Somebody’s gotta be kidding.
Obama can’t be THAT stupid.
Can he?
This IS satire, right?
NOBODY would be stupid enough to sign a REAL letter which was worded that way... would they?
C'mon - obviouly satire. Even The One's not that stupid.
Both Obama and Biden have cited his warning to Secretary Paulson. Do you think we’ll ever see it?
Buckhead, would you please pick up the white courtesy phone?
[Stay safe, FRiend.]
Okay. I just saw the rest of the items on the blog.
This IS satire.
At least my BS detector isn’t broken.
Sadly, it is NOT obvious.
And once again, I will ask, can we please have a rult to post (SATIRE) in the header?
“C’mon - obviouly satire. Even The One’s not that stupid.”
He is about that arrogant, though.
What does it say about Oevielbambi that it is hard to tell what is satire and what is not.

Somebody does need to uncover the actual letter. I’m getting tired of hearing how Obama warned of this mess two years ago. IMHO, that is absolute BS.
Actually, I’m tired of hearing from people on both sides fo the aisle about how they warned us about it. The only thing I want to hear from Washington politicians on this subject is “I’m sorry” right before they kiss my ***.
“And once again, I will ask, can we please have a rule to post (SATIRE) in the header?”
If not the header, then at least in small, yet visible, print on the bottom of the page.
The last thing I want anyone to do is to take these satire pieces and lose all credibility when arguing with a liberal.
you are being paged.....
See http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2096652/posts?page=18#18
Obama has it on his Senate website:
http://obama.senate.gov/press/070322-obama_urges_ber/
check the keywords: fakebutaccurate
I did a double-take, too, though.
Hilarious!
What this letter, if it is authentic, recommends, is the GREATER AVAILABILITY of low-interest, high-risk loans. Gotta be satire, surely?
Of course it’s satire, people! C’mon!!! How do you know? Barack Obama has never used so few words.
As I thought. It had nothing to do with the meltdown.
The entire letter delt with people who were having a hard time paying their loans, and encouraged the government to do MORE to make it easier for them to pay their loans.
Not a word about the damange subprime loans were doing to the market or how they might cause a financial meltdown.
If they’re trying to pass this off as the real thing, as a copy of the original, shouldn’t there be a date stamp for when it left his office? Shouldn’t something this important have some notations or stamps on it, as to when it was sent, and if they ever received a response? As well, it’s noticably missing any notation of copies sent to other folks. If you sent something like this out, you’d make sure members of the banking & finance committees were CC’d, as well as anyone else who should be alerted on this. This is totally bogus. And would you send a letter like this without an attachment (supporting evidence), showing why you are expressing concerns?
