Preface: Last year in their quarterly journal, "Sexual Health", (2007, 4, 219-221) the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) published a guest editorial by Jo Wainer entitled "Abortion and the full humanity of women". Jo Wainer, widow of abortionist Bertram Wainer of the East Melbourne abortion clinic, is an ardent advocate for abortion rights.
