Actress Laura Linney demonstrated for all the world to see last night that she has no idea what she’s talking about.
During her acceptance speech at the Emmy awards show, Linney, a Democratic donor who gave to Senator Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign earlier this year, called America’s Founding Fathers “the great community organizers that helped form our country.”
Linney, who played Abigail Adams in the TV mini-series, “John Adams,” took aim at critics of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama who have mocked the work he did in Chicago as a community organizer.
“I just have the most tremendous respect for anyone who serves their community,” she said. “Our Founding Fathers were community organizers. And that is fact to me. And I feel that has been disparaged. I don’t think anyone should be disrespected for their service no matter who they are or no matter what party they’re in.”
Except that the Founding Fathers were not community organizers as Obama uses the term.
They weren’t raging against capitalism and demanding crushing taxes and aggressive wealth-redistribution programs. They weren’t demanding more government spending on social programs, a higher minimum wage, gun control, or curbs on so-called predatory lending. They weren’t preaching the hateful class-warfare rhetoric of community organizers like Jeremiah Wright, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and Michael Pfleger.
Today's community organizers demand it.

Come to think of it, Genghis Khan and Adolf Hitler were community organizers as well.
Laura Linney has an illustrious ancestor. Romulus Z. Linney, a native Tarheel, served in the Army of Northern Virginia, was wounded at Chancellorsville, and won election as a Republican to Congress, where he represented a North Carolina district for three terms during the Cleveland and McKinley administrations.
They should also be considered liberals. After all, they promoted urban renewal and community redevelopment (eg. Samarkand and Bukhara in the case of Genghis Khan and Warsaw, Rotterdam, and London in the case of Hitler) and population management (eg. Auschwitz).

The founding fathers believed that the answer to all of society’s ills lie at the church’s doorsteps and within its doors, not the governments’.
Community Organizer. Definition. A paid volunteer that a local government sends to low income neighborhoods to go door-to-door passing out free condoms.
The founding fathers were seditious revolutionaries who faced death in their quest to throw the crown and government off their backs. And now damned socialists in AmeriKKKa want to shackle us with social programs that we will never be able to cast off.
if our country survives, just wait until the computer software is so advanced that “actors” won’t be needed anymore.

Actors have so much in common with self-serving career politicans in that they BS their way through life.
