Today we have the Post talking about bitter voters in small towns in Pennsylvania, Joe Biden trashing a major state industry, and a pollster desperately trying to hide the fact that McCain may actually be leading in Obama's biggest must-win state.

with VPs like that who needs VPs?
Obama is sure trying hard to lose PA. I emailed Biden’s video to the UMWA offices. I come from a long line of coal miners, my Dad is one, my grandfather was one, and my great grand father was one. A long line of Democrats too. I’ve never voted for any Democrat except for Agricultural commissioner. My Dad and Mom usually vote Republican for President if not for the lower offices.
....better get the Man Child a teleprompter so he can find out himself
Biggest Presidential blunder since Ford and the Soviet Union.
Obama, while in San Fran - and what he thought was a closed door fundraising event so the no one could hear his words - said that PA voters were bitter voters clinging to guns and God.
That gave us insight into what Obama thinks of PA and small-town voters.
Many PA voters know this...
That is a great breakdown of the poorly weighted polling so far, and McCain taking the 50+ vote in a state that is senior Citizen heavy is no small thing.
This should be fun!
Fauxbama had lost PA before the primaries were over, its just now pundents from outside the state are starting to realize it.
I wonder if the polling company ARG is based in Chicago. Sounds dirty enough.
Obama on Joe: “Joe is so smart, so experienced, that he doesn’t need no teleprompter or even a writer.”
Joe Biden bitterly clings to his outdated socialism and tired environmentalist dogma.
He lost it the day he said “bitter clingers”, along with another couple of states, Philly won’t have enough fraud to cover the bitter clingers.
Obama needs to order a cheese steak wit Swiss cheese, STAT.
when he blurted out bitter clingers
he woke up the sleeping giant in the mainland.
What pollster is covering up good McCain news in Pa?
The MAVERICK, the PITBULL and the PUMA have their teeth sunk into Pennsylvania and they will not let go until Nov. 4 (or later).
But dont underestimate Philadelphia!!! Philadelphia has more legitimate Dead and Nonexistant Voters for the DEMORAT Machine than the rest of the Nation combined:-)
Anybody know how to get a viral e-mail going to the coal miners? We need a spread the word e-mail with a link to the YouTube video. Might be the knock-out punch in PA.
“Biggest Presidential blunder since Ford and the Soviet Union.”
All Biden is doing is reciting from the Democrat party platform.
Honestly, you could have a landslide victory if we took a 10 minute primetime slot and all we did was recite from the Democrat party platform. They are so much more to the left than the voter realize, and its the media that deliberately keeps them misinformed.
Nice Graphic.
I thought PA had way more anthracite than that!
>> I thought PA had way more anthracite than that! <<
Area and volume don’t correlate well with anthracite deposits.
Obama’s celebrity is wearing thin. McCain needs to remain steady. With the introduction of Sarah Palin as the future of the Republican party, this election is really already over.
I’m sure Obama has ordered ACORN to stuff more ballots to make up for it.
Great picture! Do you have one for oil too?
ARG
I doubt it but I really hope he did. RCP (but then again it does take the clearly biased CBS/NYT poll into account too) says Obama is leading by 2.5% in PA, well within the margain of error. If you do out the map precisely to their current projections and exclude PA, then it ends up Obama 252 McCain 265
If Obama can carry PA, he will just narrowly win by 3 electoral college points....
Its too bad we don’t sink to the level of the Left because if things stay the way they are and Obama can stay with PA, if we were them we could threaten to move to canada and might even have our own selected not elected protests
I know you don’t hear as much about coal mining in Ohio as in Pennsylvania, but according to this map, it about covers half the state... does that mean this will further push McCain up in OH as well?
BTTT
I still by the anthracite to burn in my Massachusetts home because it sends money to Americans and heats the house less expensively than gas (albeit more expensively than my free wood does). Hopefully the new advances in shale fracturing opening up shale gas reserves will once again line the pockets of those people sitting atop the reserves.
PA =23 electoral votes and as of today Zogby lists it undecided.
Let the trees stand, brother. Burn that Pennsy coal!
