A rally will be held today at Dag Hammarskjold Plaza, outside the UN Headquarters in New York City. It is being sponsored by a host of American Jewish groups, amongst which are the National Coalition to Stop Iran Now, and the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations. Its purpose is to protest Iranian President Ahmadinejad’s speech to the UN General Assembly, which is scheduled for Tuesday.

I think once she becomes Veep that Sarah (and McCain) should dis-invite all those who dis-invited her from any official consideration.

I have to ask if we are all ready for Israel to launch a nuclear attack on Iran? We have left the Israeli’s little choice in the matter as we have refused to sell them equipment that could otherwise disable the attempt by the Persians to acquire a nuclear weapon. Currently Russia has agreed to supply Iran with weapons systems that should in a rational world negate any complaints from the Arab world of US weapons sales to Israel. Unfortunately we do not live in such a world, therefore we leave Israel with the choice of doing nothing or defending themselves with the only means left to them that would at least give them a chance at survival, nuclear attack.

(In the meantime, while petty politics continues between Democrats and Republicans)

That sentence is an insult to Republicans who had nothing to do with the partisanship. As long as Democrats don’t pay a political price for their partisanship, nothign will change; therefore this attempt at political correctness is totally counter productive.

Does anybody else wonder why we still support the UN?

It tries to undermine the Constitution of the USA and
would love to cripple our Constitutional Republic.
In over 60 years No major politician has ever tried to
get the USA out of the UN.

16 out of 17 of the AMERICANS that were involved in
creating the U . N. were later identified, in sworn
testimony, as secret communist agents.

The first Secretary General was the AMERICAN Alger Hiss.
Alger Hiss served time in prison pursuant to his
involvement in a Communist spy ring.

Many of the other AMERICANS that were involved in creating
the U . N. fled the country, to avoid prosecution.

The ONE AMERICAN, that was involved in creating the UN. ;
and was NOT later identified, in sworn testimony, as a
secret communist agent, was Dean Acheson.
Dean Acheson’s law firm was the legal representative
of the Soviet Union, in U. S. courts.

If the AMERICANS that were involved in creating the UN
were Communists, what do you think we got from the rest
of the world?

After Bush's bending over again and again for the dims for almost 8 long years, I hope we get a pres who will give it right back. Dims don't give a crap about getting along and neither should we anymore. It's gotten us exactly nowhere with them

President Bush had no choice. Open warfare with the dems would have destroyed any hope of continued funding for Iraq.

He had a terrible hand to play but keeping America safe is what it was all about, and this man deserves nothing but our heartfelt thanks.
