Former Terrorists Bill Ayre and Bernadine Dohrn Involved in Key Pro-Obama Organization

In 1995 former Weather Underground terrorists Bill Ayres and Bernadine Dohrn helped launch Barack Obama's political career at a small function in their Chicago home.

Bill Ayres also hired Obama to head the Annanberg Challenge, a $50 million fund which enabled Obama to fund organisations which could enhance his political career.

Later Ayres worked with Obama on the board of the Woods Fund, together doling out millions to leftist causes.

Obama has consistently tried to minimise his relationship with Ayres and Dohrn. The couple themselves, seem intent on maintaining a low profile-until at least after the election. Both parties realise that Obama's opponents will seize on any links to Ayers and Dohrn in order to discredit the Senator.

But are Ayers and Dohrn really out of the picture? Could they still be helping their friend from "underground?

Obama himself would without a doube fail the background check if he were to apply to become an FBI agent and as secret service agent because of his associations with these two domestic terrorists.

But if he's going to 'name names', he really ought to get the spelling correct! He spelled Bill Ayers' name 'Ayre'. Also, it's not 'Bernadine' Dohrn, it's Bernardine Dohrn (Dohrn's first name has two 'r's). These 'details' are important when conducting internet searches, etc. In any case, this guy (apparently in New Zealand of all places) has done some terrific investigative reporting on Obama and his many communist connections.

What a ridiculous thing to say. Of course it matters. You need to have the correct spelling if you want to research these things further. You will get an entirely different set of results if you use "Ayre" or "Bernadine" as search words. Granted, most of us by now know that it is spelled 'Ayers'. However, there are many new people coming to the site as the elections near, and some of them might not know.

Actually, the guy in New Zealand DID spell Ayers' name correctly! The typo was made in the posting of the article here. You threw me off when you said that was the way they spelled it 'down under'. And I hadn't checked until now. Again, for research purposes, Dohrn's first name is 'Bernardine', not 'Bernadine', although you will get lots of valid, but different, results for both.

The other few listed there are simply misspellings found on various blogs. The spelling of 'Bernardine' (in Bernardine Dohrn), on the other hand, is commonly found spelled both ways (correctly, as 'Bernardine', with two 'r's, and incorrectly as 'Bernadine', with one 'r'). In this case, I would advise running both in your internet searches. But definitely not Bill 'Ayres' or Bill 'Ayre'.

I go to Drudge a lot to see the latest headlines and read articles from there. They are clearcut from the sites and I don’t bother to read through miles of comments on what people ‘think’.

You can't tell much about things like complexion from photos and internet images. Many other factors are involved, such as lighting, degree of exposure, type or quality of the film, equipment, etc.
