Sure, you've written a letter to Muhammad and have communicated your feelings, opinions and beliefs in a meaningful and permanent manner. Muhammad writes back...do you really want to read that letter?
Muhammed could not write back. He was illiterate. He never wrote one word of the Koran, he only dictated.
But perhaps an audio recording of those inner voices?
The sound of one camel peeing in the morning....
How does he know they wrote what he wanted?
Because he had the secretaries read each line back, and if they made a mistake he chopped their hands off! Duh!
It wouldn't matter even if he was literate because the Koran during his life consisted of a bunch of scraps written by semi-literates. It wasn't compiled into a book until years after his death, and then it went through a few versions before settling on the final form. That's why it has no continuity or timeline and repeats and contradicts itself.
And this is made all the more fun by the fact that Arabic script wasn't even set in its current form until 150 years after Mohammed died.
