Fox just aired a piece on Obama-No mention of Bill Ayers of Obama's Connection to Ayers! (Vanity)

FoxNews just finished a special on Obama, just as they did a few hours ago on McCain (which included much time devoted to McCain's connection to Charles Keating and the Keating 5 scanda). Bill Hemmer hosted the Obama show and I did not hear Billy Ayers' name mentioned once. However, I was working on the kitchen sink plumbing and running back and forth to the garage.

Did anyone see this Obama special? And what else did Fox leave out besides the Ayers connection?

And the MSM continues its pathetic efforts to ‘spike’ and ignore the Obama/Ayers friendship. Amazing.

They just paraded a bunch of people of color that said rev wright wasnt his fault and a white guy that said obama had no idea of what kind of man rezko was.

Mccain they played his infidelity up barely mentioning that he truely felt sorry for his mistake and actually ADMITTED it. Oh and they played up Mccain’s first run for congress and how inexperience he was.

Liberal Media what do you expect?

It would be nice if the MSM gave the Ayers-Hussein friendship just ONE-TENTH of the coverage they have given Sarah's pregnant daughter.

Unconscionable.

Ayers, 63, spent 10 years as a fugitive in the 1970s when he was part of the “Weather Underground,” an anti-Vietnam War group that protested U.S. policies by bombing the Pentagon, U.S. Capitol and a string of other government buildings. Nobody was hurt in the attacks by the defunct organization, which the FBI labeled a “domestic terrorist group.”

Today, Ayers and his wife — fellow former Weather Underground fugitive Bernardine Dohrn — live in Hyde Park, where they moved after surrendering in 1980. Federal charges against the two were dropped because of improper surveillance, so they avoided prison.

Ayers and Dohrn have raised two sons of their own and adopted a third boy whose parents were Weather Underground members who went to prison. They’ve built stellar reputations as professors: Dohrn at Northwestern’s law school, Ayers as an education professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Along the way, they met a rising political star named Barack Obama, who lived in their neighborhood.

The Ayers-Obama relationship became a hot topic in Wednesday’s Democratic presidential debate. It is “an issue certainly Republicans will be raising” should Obama be the Democratic nominee for president, Obama rival Hillary Clinton said.

In the mid-1990s, Ayers and Dohrn hosted a meet-and-greet at their house to introduce Obama to their neighbors during his first run for the Illinois Senate. In 2001, Ayers contributed $200 to Obama’s campaign. Ayers also served alongside Obama between December 1999 and December 2002 on the board of the not-for-profit Woods Fund of Chicago. That board met four times a year, and members would see each other at occasional dinners the group hosted.

Reached by the Sun-Times on her cell phone, Dohrn declined to comment. Ayers, who was traveling, did not return messages.

But friends like Chicago political strategist Marilyn Katz said Ayers should not be a campaign issue.

Katz met Ayers when he was 17 and they were members of Students for a Democratic Society, a peaceful group from which the Weather Underground splintered. She noted Ayers’ work with Mayor Daley to overhaul the Chicago Public Schools and likened him to Black Panther-turned-U.S. Rep. Bobby Rush.

“What Bill Ayers and Bobby Rush ... did 40 years ago has nothing to do with” the presidential campaign, Katz said. Ayers “has a national reputation. He lectures at Harvard and Vassar. He writes the textbooks that are the standard for innovative approaches to reaching inner-city youth.”

Ayers, a Glen Ellyn native who became active in SDS while attending the University of Michigan, is the son of late Commonwealth Edison CEO Thomas G. Ayers. Ayers has praised his dad for standing by him while he was on the lam.

A book Ayers penned about those years, Fugitive Days, landed him in hot water on Sept. 11, 2001. That morning, the New York Times ran a story about the book in which Ayers said, “I don’t regret setting bombs. I feel we didn’t do enough.” Ayers’ statement was made before the World Trade Center attacks, but its timing led some to believe it was in response. “My book is in fact a condemnation of terrorism in all its forms — individual, group and official,” Ayers later said in a letter to the Chicago Tribune.

Ayers has a Web site, billayers.org, in which he blogs about politics and other subjects. He lets friends and foes post comments.

In response to an Ayers posting, “End the War,” a reader wrote, “You are an anti-American communist and a terrorist. I hope you get what you deserve over and over and over.”

Ayers has not formally endorsed Obama for president.

That special is a rerun that was first run before the access to the actual documents was granted, but I think there will be more on the Ayers stuff after the documents have been totally combed through, this is something that will really destroy Obama, don’t worry, it is coming.

Not sure since I try not to watch any of BO’s specials, but there are two specials tonight on FOX everyone may want to watch. The first is Greta Van Susteren’s special on Sarah Palin at 8 and then I think there’s one following at 9 on McCain, I actually saw the one on Sarah Palin yesterday and it’s very good.

Rupert Murdoch acted as peacemaker between Barack Obama and Fox News

Rupert Murdoch helped broker a "tentative truce" between Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama and key News Corporation lieutenant Roger Ailes, the boss of Fox News Channel, earlier this year, according to the media mogul's biographer.

Murdoch, the News Corp chairman and chief executive, was forced to court Obama after the rising star of US politics rebuffed his initial approaches, it is believed because of what he saw as the derogatory coverage of him and his wife, Michelle, on Fox News, according to Michael Wolff. The News Corp boss also advised Wolff, his biographer, to vote for the man who eventually became the Democratic presidential candidate during the New York primary earlier this year, saying: "He'll sell more papers."

Bill Ayers is the tip of the iceberg!

www.usweekly.com has links of many stories about Obama.

My favorite article on the above site is about BOs 'cousin' Odingo who he is still in contact. This charming fellow likes to rape and pillage his way through Kenya into Sharia Law...and so much more! http://www.dontvoteobama.net/cousin%20odingo.htm

Google this woman's name: "Dr. (Mrs.) Okereke-Onyuike It leads to Obama....money laundering.....and more exciting adventures. This is a good article to start with - http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/7592362.stm

But alas....this news is certainly not as important as a pregnant 17 year old..... ;)

So far as I can figure out, Odinga says he's Obama's cousin, but he's not. He's also not a Muslim, either. Their families are from the same tribal group, though, and Obama spoke at rallies for Odinga.

I started to watch the Obama special on Fox. Had to turn it off; it was too precious. The one on McCain came across as quite anti-McCain, definitely playing up his and Cindy’s negatives without much fair/balanced coverage of the positives.

Just my opinion, but I think Ayers won't be mentioned until October...around the time of the Rezko sentencing. Obama won't have time to counter it effectively.

I can't recall the name of the reporter searching through the Annenberg Project files. There may not be enough to report on just yet. Give him another 45 days.

So the BO crowd are going to insist on blacking out anything they disapprove of?

Fox is going to lose its primary base.

Again thanks for the internet.

We watched it. Lots and lots of holes. How come no one at Columbia remembers Obama?

And if he didn’t live on campus, where exactly did he live?

It basically looked like a whitewash. Where exactly did he come from? It appears that he just sprang up on a college campus, but where was he before then?

And there he was, a community organizer on the south side of Chicago, who said to himself, “I need to go to law school.” Then, poof, next thing you know, he’s off to Harvard.

What was his transcript like at Columbia? He doesn’t seem to have any classmates who remember him either.

Yes, when articles are printed about Obingo it usually has the term cousin because they are from the same Kenyan Luo Tribe.....so most probably they are related in some way. However, Obingo seem to be closer to him than his $1 half-brother living in a hut....

From article: http://www.dontvoteobama.net/cousin%20odingo.htm

"Raila Odinga has, in his own words, a “close personal friendship” with Barrack Hussein Obama. When Obama went to Kenya in August of 2006, he was hosted by Raila and spoke in praise of him at rallies in Nairobi. Obama’s bias for his fellow Luo was so blatant that a Kenya government spokesman denounced Obama during his visit as Raila’s “stooge.” http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=149_1199587542

In the recent elections in Kenya, violence broke out as Raila lost the elections: This past weekend, women and children and entire families were burned alive as a crowd of Kenyans torched a church where they had gathered to protect themselves. The cause of the violence was Odinga’s inflammatory comments about the election: When Raila Odinga lost the presidential election last week (12/27) to Mwai Kibaki, he claimed the vote was rigged, whereupon his tribal followers went on murderous rampages such as in the town of Eldoret, where on New Years Day dozens of people were burned to death in a church set on fire. Throughout Kenya, hundreds of people have been politically murdered in the last few days.

At first a million man march was planned but Obama put in some frantic 11th hour calls to his cousin to call that off, since it would reflect badly on his campaign at home, (he is locked in a battle with Hillary and it was the day of the N.H. primary), to have the media filled with images of angry Blacks rioting over a disputed election result. Odinga agreed to hold off, but now he is getting impatient. The agreement is probably to try to give Obama enough time to get his own candidacy flowing smoothly among Democrats before unleashing the violence. But Odinga can only hold off for so long, since he faces likely criminal charges over the organized slaughter of Kikuyu by his (and Obama’s) Luo tribesmen. "
