Wow, that story is complete projection. She did perfectly fine today before what, 20k to 40k people? That has been a whirlwind for the family and who could blame them to want a few days back in the sanity of Alaska to get ready for the big push. And I must say Todd has shown remarkable restraint through all this. I think if he got up close and personal with Chrissie or Olberdork, they’d melt into a puddle of goo.
I knew Sarah Palin is an amazing woman, but this just blows my mind. According to Fineman and Olbermann, she’s gone back to Alaska to study for the exam and at the same time, she’s in Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, and Colorado? Not THAT is some woman!

Agreed. The backlash actually has been quick: total viewer numbers of the 2 night Palin/McCain convention more than Obama/Biden. The Dems are very stupid. They directly contributed, by their incessant smearing, to her popularity and sympathy. Those last shots on the stage with her and her little baby in her arms was a powerful scene that has galvanized a tremendous grassroots response. The MSM will get their payback along with the sneering late night comedians calling her a stewardess, etc. Even Letterman expressed some reluctance (contrition?) recently with his comedy pieces.
