New website which helps organize action against Us Magazine for its outrageous lies against Gov. Sarah Palin in the latest issue. It provides a centralized list of all major advertisers from the past 6 issues for those angered to "express" themselves.
Great response so far to this FReeper-made site. Spread the word.
I would prefer that EVERYONE go to your local mkt, shake out the subscription litter cards and drop them in the mail for processing. Send them a message.

Many people are emailing that they are doing just that, along with covering up Us with other mags in stores.

Better yet take out the cards that are “prepaid mail,” and write your disgust on them and send them in. They will have to pay for getting your comments.
Do your part. Write an advertiser. And when you walk past the magazines in a store, hide US magazines. Move them up high or down low and hide the US cover behind a car magazine.
What US did is way out of line. Make them pay.

I got six canned answers back from the six emails I sent to US Mag.
They said they are sorry I did not like the Palin story but they are commited to bringing me stories about whatever topic is interesting that week.

I was watching this little old lady in Walmart today staring at the front cover of the US magazine with Odumbo and his wife on it and then she put it in her cart....I just shook my head and figured she was senile.
True. But remember Us Magazine has 1.85 million subscribers and an estimated total readership of 12 million monthly. Those are big numbers. 10 cents per card is pretty small compared with the potential of losing a major subscriber like those listed on the website.
Take the return addressed card and tape it to a brick wrapped in brown paper. Drop in the mail box.

Sending an email to the advertisers listed on the website is best. Most companies do not want the bad publicity of being associated with a magazine that is engaged in very unpopular activities.
I’ve just noticed within the last few days that some NJ and PA supermarkets must have pulled USWeekly from their racks as it is no longer conspicuous.

P.S. Not an issue of free speech rather can Mr. Winner, the publications’s owner publish scurrilous, libelous trash without expecting retribution.
Everyone needs to undestand that the Publisher of Rolling Stone magazine, Jann Wenner, also owns US. This leftwing POS has published several hit pieces on GWB and has Obama kneepads on with at least 3 Obama covers this year alone. Wenner is queer, after all, and it has been suggested Obama is living on the downlow, so it’s a natural “fit”.
US is owned by Jan Wenner, publisher of Rolling Stone and Obama supporter, in case you are wondering why they would publish filth like this about palin.

Wenner left his wife and 3 children for Nye, a clothing designer. They then "had" three children "together" via surrogate.
Reports last year were that Wenner had strayed yet again, "cheating on his longtime boy toy Matt Nye with Men's Fitness editor Neal Boulton", according to Page Six. By the way, Boulton is married with three kids.
That makes 9 kids affected by Wenner's pathological deviance. Just sick.

This site is great and it’s a start in fighting back, but more is needed. We need to fight every smear, every lie, every unfair news article and newscast. A site dedicated to fighting all of this crap is needed. They are playing dirty and will continue to do so. We can play clean and still fight back.

All this notoriety may sell some copies but I was stunned yesterday to note that NO ONE in any line was picking up copies of US at the checkstand yesterday at my local market, which is entrenched in a totally leftist neighborhood full of “industry” people here in Los Angeles.
I think I sent a message to everyone at one of the companies, something wrong with their phone system.

Always hear the whining, but no one takes action and does something about it.
You have to earn the right by taking some action. Then you can whine all day like I do.
Ironically, that and thousands of other tricks like that can be found in Abby Hoffman’s “Steal This Book”.
They must work as some packaging has changed to prevent some of his ideas from happening.
I’m a Boomer so I have his book from when it came out. But the hardback goes for hundreds of dollars on eBay ... the paperback for a little less the last I checked.

The advertiser list has been updated to fix several errors, and to add 9 new advertisers. Some pretty major women’s brands.
Also, I want to urge everyone to do this. A suggestion though: Write your message on the lines in blue or black ink vs large writing in red ink. That way it won't be as easily noticed by the post office and less likely to be thrown in the trash.
I’ve been doing that for years and years with Hitlery and the Rapist. Have started to do it with the Marxist now too.
