This is good. I think I read somewhere where this sick story is on Drudge.
To: NewJerseyJoe
I think the “obama camp’s” attacks on Governor Palin’s children is despicable, evil and hateful. But, I also expected it.

Oh the shrieking from the left has started! By the end of September it will be a full blown howl! Then when they loose, they'll cry foul and riot and act like a bunch of three year olds who aren't allowed to have what they WANT! ...except that unlike three year olds, these people truly are dangerous. They'll be well advised to try not to take it too badly, and to only break stuff that belongs to them while they're having their tantrum. We're in no mood for their nonsense this time around.

The political party one belongs to makes all the difference in how the people are judged.
The children of good Democrats are off limits.
The children of those evil Republicans are fair game.
Jenna Bush is a teacher. That’s a nice profession, and it’s one that liberals love to talk about as being so beneficial to society. Yet we rarely hear about Jenna and her teaching.
Chelsea Clinton does who knows what for a hedge fund, and earns a six-figure income doing it. Hedge funds are part of the evil corporate wealth complex, and is considered to be detrimental to society. We rarely hear about Chelsea and her hedge fund career.
If the positions were reversed, don’t you think we would hear about a Republican daughter working for a hedge fund, and maybe even hints that her powerful daddy got her the six figure income job???? And wouldn’t we also hear about how wonderful a good Democrat daughter was by being a teacher, and children are our future, yadda, yadda, yadda?????

Excellent!!!
The good news is....the Bush girls seem to have come out ok despite it all. I have been sending up prayers for the Palins and especially Bristol all day because of all this crap.
It is vile what the MSM scum has done in the last 24 hours! It will come back three times three on them..... Americans are not as stupid as they seem to think..... :o

Speaking of double standards
- why does the press go to Alaska
to question every resident about Palin
- but NEVERS goes to Chicago
to interview the displaces steel workers "helped" by Obama?

Those in the top row, as well as the bottom row, are untouchable by respectable folk. Vicious attacks on a candidate's children in contemptuous.

Very good question about why the news hounds went many thousands of miles to Alaska to find people who might say something about Sarah Palin, but won’t go the 700 miles from Washington to Chicago to talk to the community which Obama was organizing.
To: FlingWingFlyer
DU has gone nuts over Palin. I spent about twenty hours reading since the DNC and the paranoia and hate is unreal. My 6-year-old login was banned a few weeks ago for a minor one-liner about the Obama New Yorker satire.
Until this week, I was 50/50 between Obama and McCain.
There’s complete paranoia and hostility to any poster that hasn’t racked up 1000 posts. I don’t think they even realize that their mindset has entered a state that forecloses on any new membership or debate.
DU is no longer mainstream liberal.
I suppose it was the Hillary / Obama duel.
I’m not happy about it.
I feel vaguely depressed.

Heck, why don’t the news hounds take the Amtrak train to Delaware with Joe Biden and talk to the Delwaraeans about Joe?
To: NewJerseyJoe
Have these evil people figured out the numbers, especially women, they are alienating?
And, if they are winning anyone over, the vile types they are attracting?

We all knew the left would do this. We really didn't expect any less. I mean...are we surprised when a dog craps in the house and it stinks? :-) Not at all!
These people tossing around the accusations are low. I've been egging them on here and there at work knowing that most of them suffer from BDS (Bush Derangement Syndrome). All I have to do is mention GW and the WOT and they start foaming at the mouth and coming unglued! I can see it on their faces! I've been going over to a buddy's area and talking politics with him while the lefty in the corner hears us and just gets all steamed up. :-) The lefty is a homosexual we "think", and has the "metrosexual man" look down PAT. We hit all the political high points and usually "digress" to talking guns, security, home defense and other worthy subjects. Sometimes, the lefty just gets up and leaves the area. Fortunately, his type are vastly outnumbered by us where I work.
These people taking shots at the Palin kids is low, and given that Obama is in deep doo doo at the moment, they might want to give some thought to pissing off the mother of these kids...a mother who's very likely to become the VP soon. You and I both know that it's possible for somebody to piss off one of us men with our kids and we're pretty calm about it so long as nobody gets hurt. Time passes, and we tend to forget. Moms aren't that way though. They remember this stuff with their kids....and years later, they tend to get even. :-) ...in ways that us men would never dream of!

Well you should feel depressed about DU and their behavior. It sounds like a collective temper tantrum. Even though they disagree with Sarah politically, they should be able to carry on a civil conversation about the issues they care about, and contrast with Sarah’s beliefs, and then state their opinions. They should be able to do that without hyperventilating and having a meltdown worthy of a three year old.

Prayers lifted for the Palin family, especially the children, but also for Sarah Palin to feel the comfort and strength of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

DU is no longer mainstream liberal. Mainstream liberal is quickly going the way of the dodo bird. Just look what they have done to any politician who strays on an issue. Just 8 years ago Joe Lieberman was the Democrat VP nominee. Today most people on the left treat him worse than they do most Republicans. His views didn't change. He just stood up for defending this country.
When liberals realize that country still comes before party, then they may be able to call themselves mainstream again.

For leftists and conservatives, God always comes before country. For conservatives God is Christ, for leftists God is Marxism.
