I'm wondering if someone can help: Some "lovable lib" at Daily Kos has been circulating the story Sarah Palin did not have a Downs syndrome baby-that it was actually her daughter who had the baby.
By way of "proof" a photograph showing Mrs. Palin exiting a plane is being offered. The photo is ambiguous: because of Palin's dress,it's very difficult to see that pre-natal bulge-7 weeks before delivery date.
I've scoured for images, and noticed a large number have been pulled from Flicker (?)-some of which might have been profile shots of the governor.
If anyone else knows of a trove of photos - say from December 2007-February 2008-that would help throw the lie back into Daily Kos' teeth,please help !
Honestly, if this were true, it would be a lot easier to prove than reading about a rumor on KOS. Those people are sick.

Just the fact that the baby has down syndrome means it was more likely Sara’s than her daughters since down syndrome occurs more in older women. It’s really a stupid rumor.

Finding and posting photos of Palin to prove/disprove she was pregnant is just wrong for both sides.
The baby wasn’t full term either and Sarah is very fit. Those are two factors to consider.

Also, the baby was premature. Any photos you may find may not show Mrs. Palin looking all that pregnant, especially if she were wearing heavy winter clothing. (think about Alaskan “winters” and when she would have been pregnant)

my niece (who is my age) and i were talking about this the other day... she thinks that NK did not really carry her baby... she said one week later, NK was back to her normal shape... i thought, "how crazy is that?"
I hear what you’re saying, and to my eye, she looks almost classicly pregnant-high carry.Lord knows I’ve seen my share of pregnant women !
I also know many women who are pregnant raise holy hell if they are photographed in such a way their pregnancy is obvious. (They think it makes them look undesirable, I guess.)

I’ve met a couple of women in my lifetime that absolutely did not show at all during the entire 9 months. I realize these are exceptions but it can happen.

Weight and shape are two different entities! But Nicole may have used a pair of Spanx for her post-pregnancy photos.
Gov. Palin should, just before her next speaking engagement, do a quick media interview which includes her discreetly nursing her baby, just to shut everyone up. She is still breastfeeding.
I read somewhere that the rumor is that her daughter actually had the baby and the daughter was off somewhere but everyone was told she (daughter) had mono real bad for several months. Surely if that was true, lots of people would know it.

yes--i think it's all very silly... NK seemed to gain most of her weight in her belly... and not much at that... once she had the baby, it was probably not hard to lose the weight...

My cousin gained 50 lbs. with her first and only child. It was mostly all fluid. She lost all 5o lbs right away. This rumor that ignorant liberals have started is just that. I would not worry about it. They are just deeply worried. Their Obama has 143 days experience as Senator and half of that has been spent on the campaign trail. She was in office 5 years before Obama ever became Senator. This is just another low down attempt to pull the wool over our eyes. Go McCain and Palin!!
