Rightwing fodder-- Barack Obama Invesco Field convention tickets picture upside down US flags- an international symbol of distress.
The DNC tickets printed for Barack Obama's acceptance speech at Invesco Field show an upside down US flag on both sides. This is the international symbol of extreme distress. FOX 9 reported:
Some viewers contacted 9NEWS Saturday, questioning the design of the credentials to see Sen. Barack Obama accept the Democratic Party's presidential nomination at INVESCO Field at Mile High.
The viewers say with the stars and blue field in the lower left corner, it looks like an upside down American flag. Published flag etiquette states the stars should always be displayed in the upper left corner. An upside down flag represents an international symbol of extreme distress.
Matt Chandler with the Obama campaign says the flag is not upside down. He says it is a stylized flag designed to blend the stars on Senator Obama's shirt with the flag blowing in the wind.
Natalie Wyeth with the Democratic National Convention Committee sent 9NEWS the following statement Saturday night: "The DNCC community credentials incorporate patriotic design elements. They do not depict an actual American flag. The DNCC has full and complete respect for the flag and all rules of display."

The presumed condition of extreme distress signalled by an upside-down flag is completely in line with Obama’s theme of the urgent need for “change”, and for Bush’s “failed policies”. This was not accidental. Many on the left display upside-down flags or avatars as they await their chance to “take our country back” from the patriots.

The flag is right side up. It’s Obama who’s upside down.
The ticket is also advertising ‘change’, so I interpret that as Obama wanting to CHANGE America into a distressed nation.
If he were to be elected in November, there is no doubt that is precisely what would happen.
That's the BEST NUANCED explanation I have heard--

And, Barrack Obama doesn’t depict an actual Presidential candidate. It’s just pretend.
As I see it, this is because nobody inside the Obama campaign - including the candidate hisself - knows the proper way to fly the American flag. Likely because they never have done so. Simple as that. They think it more important to “blend” the flag “stylistically” with Obama’s shirt than it is to show it properly, illustrating the problem with Obama’s candidacy in a revealing fashion.
That's the problem right there.
Now we know why he didn't put his hand over his heart during the national anthem,,,and why he didn't like to wear the flag-pin.
If he had worn it the way he liked it,,,it would have to be flown (or worn) upside down!!
