LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA!!! NOT GOING TO HEAR IT!!! HANDS OVER MY EARS! That is the attitude of the KOmmies to another KOmmie who had the Kewpie Doll moment of posting that the Edwards scandal disaster is NOT going away as you can see in this THREAD titled "The Edwards Disaster Is Not Going Away." In fact, with the way the National Enquirer is releasing the information on this scandal, it threatens to overshadow the Democrat convention. The big money man at the center of the John Edwards scandal, Fred Baron, is also a big fundraiser for Barack Obama. Also this scandal has just made the Hillary people even angrier since they are sure that if John Edwards had to sense to withdraw from the presidential race due to the affair hanging over him, then Hillary would have won since he wouldn't have drained votes from her in the Iowa caucuses. So let us now watch the KOmmies put their hands over their ears responding to the bad news in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, looking forward to each and every issue of the National Enquirer over the next few weeks, is in the [brackets]:

If there’s one thing we learned about John Edwards watching Rielle Hunter’s video of the candidate reveling in his belief in himself as bullshitter-par-excellence, it’s that this man has no problem lying - even when he’s "leveling."

In Edwards’ bizarre ABC interview intended to damage-control the fiasco, his cavalier and downright creepy lying only opened up the door for further investigation, and his story stinks to high heavens. Most disturbing of all (and dangerous to the rest of our party) are the obvious questions of where Edwards got all the money to bankroll his affair with Hunter.
[His money man, Fred Baron, totally on his own and without any instructions from Edwards whatsover made big bucks monthly payments to Rielle Hunter and the "father" of her love child, Andrew Young, along with paying for mansion rent. BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!]
Now the publication that broke and followed this story, that Edwards called "completely untrue" and "tabloid trash" while running for President and afterwards, has even MORE revelations on this revolting candidate.
[Drip! Drip! Drip! The National Enquirer has plenty more information that they are SLOOOOOWLY releasing over the next few weeks.]
The National Enquirer reports that Edwards' political operatives are still paying his mistress Rielle Hunter - and she was whisked away on a private jet two days before he confessed their extramarital affair on national television.
[The National Enquirer is simply allowing Edwards to try to lie his way out of this while holding on to documents that prove he is a liar.]
Where is this money coming from? Campaign finances? You can be damn sure Edwards and his campaign, and perhaps the DNC, will be investigated because of this. THIS will be the big convention story.
[All the DUmmie and KOmmie suckers who donated to the Edwards campaign were really paying for hush money for his mistress.]
The Enquirer also reports that:
"After Edwards confessed the affair to his wife, he restarted it, and was sexually involved with Rielle when she became pregnant."
["Honey, this affair is over forever...until it starts up again."]
"Despite his denials, Edwards WAS aware that his former finance committee chairman, Fred Baron, was funneling money to Rielle."
[And you can bet that the National Enquirer has information proving this.]
"Experts are now calling for a federal investigation into Edwards' use of campaign funds."
[Maybe he was just investigating poverty by setting up his mistress and "father" of his child in a multi-million dollar mansion.]

John Edwards is destroying what should be a time to focus on Barack Obama and the Denver convention. You can bet the Edwards disaster, and his continued lying – pouring lies upon lies – will cast a black cloud over Denver and all Democrats. And that’s assuming there aren't campaign finance violations involved, which seems VERY unlikely given the payoff amounts and durations involved.

My choice is to dismiss it, and John Edwards, as just another disappointing bullshitter, and to regret that I sent him money I could not really afford during his primary bid.

Who made the decision to cheat on their cancer-ridden wife? It was John Edwards. He was the one who put himself in this position. Far from being a disaster. More like the end to a short and flawed political career. He is super rich from being an ambulance chasing lawyer anyways. I do not feel the least bit of empathy for him.
