Poll: Congress got mad hate for ya votahs.

Americans have one more thing to whine about. According to a recent Zigby poll, members of Congress have never had a lower opinion of the American people.

The poll indicates that for the first time congressional opinion on the people they serve has fallen to single digits. A total of eight percent of Congress members say they have a "good opinion" of the American people. Only six percent of the members surveyed said they had a "great opinion" of their constituents.

"This is historic," said Raymond Zigby, who runs Zigby polls and still lives with his mom. "We've always assumed that Congress loathed the people they supposedly served, but this is the first time they've admitted it."

The American people have a 5-6% favorable opinion of this Congress and with this news that number will drop even more and that is the formula for civil war and revolution.

But seriously, one does lose respect for citizens who constantly whine for more and more goodies, who cannot prioritize and take care of themselves and their families, without their nannie-state.

We, the people they represent, are not highly regarded by the “elites” in Congress. If for no other reason, that’s a good argument for term limits. Twelve years of total service in the U. S. House of Representatives and/or the U. S. Senate and then they’re out! When they start to look down on us, they are no longer our representatives.
