As much as I enjoy the O'Reilly Factor, Bill is becoming less objective every day. This is the latest instance.

Jackson mentioned that Obama "...is talking down to blacks...and something about cutting his nuts off".
We all heard and saw that. However, do you know that there were following musings of the Reverand Jackson calling "Obama a half-breed "N" word?" This has been ignored by everyone and now even the conscience of cable newscasting - Bill O'Reilly, even though he has acknowledged the Jackson words.
The O'Reilly Factor didn't broadcast those comments by Jackson, claiming it had nothing to do with the issue at hand. See here:O'Reilly Talk
I sent a "pithy" comment off to O'Reilly for his take. He came back with the same rhtetoric in his video that he didn't want to hurt the Reverend Jesse Jackson for what was ill-advised joke.
WTF? But it's okay for the good Reverend to call Obama a "half-breed nigger", not to mention wanting to "cut his nuts off"?
I also asked O'Reilly if he thought it okay to call a persidential candidate a "half-breed nigger"? Bill hasn't responded as yet.
There are (3) thing in play here:
1. Jesse Jackson racially denigrating Obama (whom I don't support but that's a side issue);
2. Obama accepting Jacksons apology, knowing the full context of Jackson's statement;
3. Bill O'Reilly covering up the most horrendous part of Jacksons statement.
The last is what dismays me - it's always the coverup. If you listen to the link above you will hear O'Reilly making excuses for Jackson's BS regarding Obama supposedly "talking down to blacks" and "cutting Obama's nuts off". It was about political rhetoric according to O'Reilly. Of the cuff jokes I guess.
What O'Reilly refuses to deam important by censoring the rest of content, is the part where Jackson calle Obama a "half-breed nigger". O'Reilly claims he doesn't want to "hurt" (his word) Jesse Jackson - like that MF should not be.
I have no question for you folks. I only know that I am learning O'Reilly is becoming part of the establishment if he does want to hammer the race-monger Jackson. I'm bummed. Guess it's Glen Beck from hear out.

If BOR is not totally Ted Baxter, he’s sure darn close. “No spin” indeed.
Please don't call him this. He has done nothing to earn the respect of that title. He flunked out of the seminary, he's never had a congregation, and he's never led a church, so why to people bestow the title on him? The same is even more true for Al Sharpton, but he didn't even attend college, let along divinity school. He was "ordained" at age 10 by a DC preacher. In both cases, using the term Reverend for these two charlatans is disrespectful to those who actually deserve its respect.
I was passing by my tv yesterday afternoon and heard O’Bloviator justifying his actions on one of Shepard “I need a hysterectomy” Smith’s shows. “I didn’t show it because it would hurt the Rev.”. BAH!
I would never have thought it could happen, but if you check out O’Reilly’s comments the first night he aired the tape (about there being more and that it was worse) and then compare what he said yesterday, and the Roger Ailes comments, it sounds like Bill was told to drop it.
The O’Reilly Factor has degenerated into a trivia quiz show, but the news babe contestants are pretty hot. What’s next, The Price is Right?
O’Reilly is really turning into a DAMNED WEASEL. not wanting to hurt Dr. Jessie, BULLSH#T.
What say me is that BOR is trying desperately to get Obama on his show.
Releasing the full tape isn’t about hurting Jackson — I think the “nuts” comment does that in and of itself.
The “half-breed nigger” comment on the hand is so incendiary that it would have sucked the air out of the room of the entire presidential race discussion on all networks.
The entire conversation would shift to to Obama’s “blackness,” Obama’s background, and etc etc. (even more than it is now) And this would certainly hurt his cause to become so sort of “post-racial” candidate.
Ultimately the whole thing would have been turned around on BOR and FOX that they racist — bringing up an accusation and discussion that doomed the Obama campaign.
Unfortunately for BOR the tape WILL ultimately be up on youtube and BOR and the rest of the media will be forced to run with it. And BOR will still not get Obama on his show.

Bill made an out-of-court, keep-your-mouth-shut settlement with one of his female staffers, so I guess he is heterosexual, or at least bisexual.
In fact, I think Jackson was on to something. Not only does Obama talk down to black folks, he talks down to EVERYBODY. Case in point his stupid "make sure your kids learn Spanish" comment. Yet does Obama himself speak Spanish?

The Clintons people are being placed into cable news. FOX just hired two of them even though they are boooooring. CNN is filled with Clinton people. I cannot speak for MSNBC because I haven't much watched it lately. Makes me wonder if this is a push to elect Hillary in 2012. I am surprise Dick Morris is still at FOX considering he was a bigger traitor to the Clintons than McClellan was to President Bush.

It’s quite common for black men in Atlanta to deem themselves to be “Reverend”, even putting it on their license. I had a guy that came up to Tennessee from Atlanta and he had “Dr. Whateverhisnamewas” on his checks. I asked what kind of doctor he was. Come to find out, he did hair braids and owned a shop called “The Hair Doctor”, but put that title on his check and had people call him “Dr. Whateverhisnamewas”. This is the same mentality. I have also seen black men named “King” and “Master” as to have the person call them “Master Johnson” or “King Jackson”.
O’ Reilly still thinks some Arab wakes up and sets the price of oil every day. He has no clue and I see his ratings going down as all he wants is Obama on his show.
Those two, and many others you never hear of, have ordained themselves simply to avoid paying income and sales taxes.
But these same men are the same order that Jesse Jackson is out of. The MLK group in Atlanta. That is where Jackson got his start, hanging out with the Reverend King. So these same men in Atlanta all throw Reverend in front of their name to give them some sort of prestige. It is exactly the same thing.

Oh it’s wrong, that is definite. I guess I was expressing my own disgust at the superstar status alot of the “groupies” (and that is a precise and correct word to describe these people) get down here. Atlanta City Government is over run by these types and their cronies. So many have Jr. and III’s to let people know who their Daddy was and that gets them contracts, into door on city counsels and so on. It is disgusting and affects the whole region. Even down to naming the airport after a MLK groupie. I suppose to the rest of the country it does imply a certain dignity, but to most of us, we know the gig so it means nothing. Martin Luther King was a great man, but alot of his family got the superstar treatment after his death and it went to their head. Not all, but alot of them. Corretta was expected to be treated like a Queen, and she was most of the time. I feel she was a good woman at one time. She certainly educated herself and that is admirable for the times she grew up, but even the best of us can let ego get too large.
Agree completely. O'Reilly is totally off base on this one and has lost enormous credibility. I purposely avoided watching his show the last couple of days because what he did was categorically opposite to what he mouths constantly about the other news organizations - selective reporting. In fact, I'll likely avoid his program from this point forward.
Yep...none of us is perfect, including MLK. I just wish people would quit trying to ride his (and others’) coattails and stand on their own, earned, merits rather than trying to fool everyone with bogus titles and empty gestures.
Bill O. is becoming more and more like Barry Goldwater. Barry was once a strong voice of conservatism and became a nasty old liberal who simply lost it in his old age. Bill has taken a few steps into liberal land and I have quit watching him months ago.
When FOX started out, the honesty was a breath of fresh air badly needed in American newscasting. The proof came via their growth.
That's when I started watching BOR avidly. For a commentator to actually apply a little common sense was fantastic. I rarely missed even one segment. He ran for quite some time, keeping his common sense mostly intact and his pomposity to a relative minimum. I thought he was basically fair, or honestly tried to be.
All of that is on a accelerating trip into ancient history. Now I will turn off segments now and then and turn him off whenever I hear the word "OIL". It seems like he has forgotten anything he ever knew about capitalism and has no idea about 'supply and demand' OR good old American ingenuity when it comes to problemsolving. My double confirmation that BOR was either dishonest or had the wool pulled over his eyes easily by his leftist staff members were his comments about two things that I personally have close experience with:
1. FReerepublic
2. Swift Boat Veterans and Kerry's lies.

Don’t forget the “reverend wright” while you’re at it. That’s a very important title that none of these charlatans qualify for.
Personally, I find him to be contrary to almost everything I believe in. However, he did earn a master's degree from the University of Chicago Divinity School and holds a Doctor of Ministry degree (1990) from the United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio. Since he also has a congregation, detest him as I do, he has earned the right to his Rev. title.
