Louisville, KY—In an attempt to fix the prices at the gas pumps, Louisville’s Attorney General, Jack Conway, and Governor Steve Beshear, have ordered the construction of Soviet-Era Gulags for punishment of those convicted of price gouging at the gas pump.

Actually not an idle threat, but really an “idol” one.
The most extreme form of punishment in the new Gulag will be being forced to watch endless reruns of “American Idol” as all the female vocalists try to out-scream each other. (The winner in each case being the one who most closely emulates the sounds she made during a particularly difficult delivery.)
