Dr. Norman Spack is a pediatric endocrinologist at Boston Children's Hospital. Not long ago, he opened a clinic for what he terms "transgendered" children.
Incredibly, he is giving kids as young as seven drugs that delay the onset of puberty—the first step in sex-change surgery when they are older.
Spack injects children with hormone-blocking drugs to prevent them from developing secondary sexual characteristics, like breasts or facial hair. The idea is to give them a few more years to make up their minds if they want to be male—or female.

Obvious nonsense. Sex (not gender) is fixed before birth and is not fluid and can not be changed, regardless of hormones and/or scalpels.
The parents of these children should be drawn and quartered. What kind of sicko parent would do this to a child?
How could a child *7* years old possibly have the cognitive abilities to know that they may not want to be the sex they are?

BUT - before I make a knee-jerk wise-acre comment....
I think that children born with both genders is not all that uncommon. At least common enough for me to have heard of it. I think that typically, there's a "sex assignment" surgery, where whatever happens to be the "most developed" is what the kid winds up with.
Could that be what the article is talking about?
If it is indeed a sex-change process, then yup, it's utterly ghoulish. PC in its extreme.
I see there is no mention of the good doctor being a homosexual. Imagine that!
This has to be a gross violation of medical ethics by any standards. How does this quack maintain a medical license?

It's not about sex, it's about gender. Even much younger boys know they're boys and much younger girls know they're girls. And some apparently know they're not what they seem to be from the outside.
