INDEPENDENCE DAY–JULY 4TH, 2008 July 3rd, 2008 HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY, AMERICA!

Click the link to hear Lee Greenwood’s tribute to our nation and to the men who died to keep it free, GOD BLESS THE USA, aka, PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN: http://www.sceniclasvegas.com/proud_to_be.html

God Bless The USA

If tomorrow all the things were gone

I’d worked for all my life,

And I had to start again

with just my children and my wife,

I’d thank my lucky stars

to be living here today,

‘Cause the flag still stands for freedom

and they can’t take that away.

I’m proud to be an American

where at least I know I’m free,

And I won’t forget the men who died

who gave that right to me,

And I gladly stand up next to you

and defend her still today,

‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land

GOD BLESS THE USA

From the lakes of Minnesota

to the hills of Tennessee,

Across the plains of Texas

from sea to shining sea.

From Detroit down to Houston

and New York to L.A.,

There’s pride in every American heart

and it’s time we stand and say:

I’m proud to be an American

where at least I know I’m free,

And I won’t forget the men who died

who gave that right to me,

And I gladly stand up next to you

and defend her still today,

‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land

God Bless the U. S. A.

Lee Greenwood

It will be noted that Jose Feliciano performed this song before the Papal Mass at Yankees Stadium in April.

And how, when the awful words of Obama's pastor, Jeremiah Wright, were ringing in the ears of America and the world, His Holiness came and said, "God bless America," his emphasis.

I have always liked "America" by Neil Diamond.

God Bless America and grant it the wisdom to expose Liberalism for the evil that it is.

thanks but, music come way-hay before music in my book. I never let former become tainted by the latter.
