Does Demonoid *ever* open registration? [P2P file-sharing question]

Any P2P experts/insiders on the FR forums here? I've been trying for several months to catch an "open registration" period at Demonoid, but it's always closed. The Demonoid FAQ says it's open for a couple of days each month, usually the first day or two of the month, but that wasn't true this month -- or last month -- unless it's only for an hour or so each time. No matter when or how often I check in, the registration is always closed.

Any inside info on when the registrations are likely to be open?

I'd ask if any of you are Demonoid members and would be willing to FReepmail me an invitation code, but that probably violates the Demonoid TOS.

Any info would be appreciated, thanks.

You may want to try newsgroups instead of torrents. Take a look at newshosting or giganews.

good indexing site include
newzleech.com
newzbin.com
beta.binaries.nl
nzbmatrix.com

happy hunting..

Unfortunately, there are several downloads I want to make that are available nowhere else but on Demonoid. I've searched other torrents, newsgroups, eDonkey, etc., and have come up with zip.

Thanks anyway.... Happy 4th

IIRC, Demonoid is dead now. Has it been put up again?

That doesn’t happen with me — whenever I go there (including multiple times today), the main page always loads. But the message at top right always reads “Registration is closed. You can join if you have an invitation code.”

Are you sure you need to register? I just went out to the site and downloaded an audiobook, without ever registering.
