The Michelle Obama Rant Tape was filmed between June 26th - July 1st 2004 in Chicago, IL at the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition Conference at Trinity United Church: specifically the Women's Event.
Michelle Obama appeared as a panelist alongside Mrs. Khadijah Farrakhan and Mrs. James Meeks.
Bill Clinton spoke during the Conference, as did Bill Cosby and other speakers, but not at the panel Michelle attended.
Michelle Obama spoke at the Women's Event, but referenced Bill Clinton in her rant --- his presence at the conference was the impetus for her raving, it seems.
For about 30 minutes, Michelle Obama launched into a rant about the evils of America, and how America is to blame for the problems of Africa. Michelle personally blamed President Clinton for the deaths of millions of Africans and said America is responsible for the genocide of the Tutsis and other ethnic groups. She then launched into an attack on "whitey", and talked about solutions to black on black crime in the realm of diverting those actions onto white America. Her rant was fueled by the crowd: they reacted strongly to what she said, so she got more passionate and enraged, and that's when she completely loses it and says things that have made the mouths drop of everyone who's seen this.
The "tape" is a DVD that Trinity United sold on its website, and possibly offered free for download up until March 2008 when Trinity's site was scrubbed and the DVDs were no longer offered for sale.
This outburst happened just one month before the 2004 Democratic Convention, when Barack Obama delivered the keynote address.

When it comes out, Barack will be permanently branded with the Nation of Islam - not a good tag when running for President of the United States.
There is no coincidence that Barrack Obama "quit" his controversial church yesterday, just as news of this tape hit.
But his ties with the Nation of Islam do not get cut just because he "quits" the church. "Barack hired two members of the Nation of Islam to work on his staff—Jennifer Mason and Cynthia K. Miller. If Jeremiah Wright and Michael Pfleger (now placed on leave by the Cardinal of New York for his recent rant) had kept their yaps buttoned none of this would mean much. But the fact that both men have been—until scrubbed from the website in recent weeks—listed as spiritual advisors to Barack Obama and also are very close to Louis Farrakhan, forces the question about Barack’s faith and beliefs." The word is that one of the Republican candidates no longer in the race (Rudy) acquired the tape. Republicans will most likely hold the tape until the fall. Because if Hillary had it, she'd let it out now to get rid of Obama.
Things will only get more interesting. Either way, Michelle Obama has using her own mouth, put her husband's foot in it.

If they were selling this DVD tape on their website this means there are alot of others that have this tape in their possession. I don’t believe it exists IMO.

Sorry, I beg to differ, it wouldn’t be out. I think there is a very good possibility the DVD does exist, and if it does then leaking it’s existence is great psychological warfare against Obama and the MSM. I also wouldn’t put it past Rudy to do exhaustive opposition research like this on all of his opponents, Repubs and dems. Rudy came up in New York politics, one of the roughest, nastiest and toughest places in the US to be a successful politician.

Should be easy to verify the existence of the tape. Use the waybackmachine or another internet archive and check the “church’s” website for Feb 2008.
I think it a bunch of hooey so won’t spend the time, but someone who believes this DVD is real can do it...
It was just my opinion and I would love to be wrong.

Time to get past this nonsense. Mythological tapes are not going to defeat the haloed one, only provide a distraction from the real materials that might. It also gives the conservatives who dislike McCain a reasonable hope that they can sit this one out and the haloed one will still lose. That aint gonna happen folks. Mobilizing the people against this marxist fraud is the only way he'll be defeated.
If such a tape exists, I would love to see it released. However, I’m betting it doesn’t exist unless no one bought it off the website or put it on YouTube which seems very unlikely. If it exists and the GOP has it, they are very smart in waiting until after the convention so Obama is the guaranteed nominee and it is closer to the election.
Obama can’t very well throw her under the bus.
But the Obama voters will ignore it when and if it appears.
Just like the video of Marion Barry smoking crack didn’t hurt him with the kool-aid drinkers who voted for him, such a tape will not hurt the Obamessiah at all.
He could eat a live, screaming white baby on national television and the Obama voters would still not desert him. Neither will the media.
I just ain’t buying it. The rumor that’s been spreading is this tape was sold on DVD on Obama’s former Church’s website for a couple of years and that it was available on that same website for free download until March of this year. And people are now supposed to believe that Giuliani apparently holds the only copy of this tape?
Sorry, no. I don’t believe it. I think it best to attack Obama on his merits rather than sit around and do nothing waiting for some mystical tape that’s never coming.

Good article. Just watched a few minutes of the Beltway Boys and the polls show Obama leading, a sad statement on America’s future in my opinion. Over half the nation is stuck on stupid, especially the public education crowd elitists who never learned during all their years of educational indoctrination.

Could those things that he reported about Michelle's rant be true. Of course, the woman has an MO now. It would fit her after knowing what the pastor has been preaching and her attendance there for twenty years.
I don't think a tape or DVD neccessarily exists, but I do believe Michelle Obama is capable of saying those rumored things.
Remember, Beckel also intone there are things she utters other than "whitey" which are horrific!
With all that said, don't ever forget the Bill Clinton deposition video farce where he supposedly blew up. NEVER HAPPENED!

Since the Rainbow/Push event didn’t even take place at the Trinity Church, this piece starts right off with B.S.
It was Larry Johnson at “No Quarter” blog, a staunch Hillary supporter, that started all this, not Bob Beckel.
If not, it serves a purpose by raising doubts about Michelle and BHO by association. After all, if these two hadn't sat in 20 years listening to a virulent racist rant about whites and America, this story would have had no legs.
